Dear Father, we are filled with joy tonight that You have shown mercy on our nation once again, though we are not worthy, and given us a Godly leader who calls You Lord and Master. We ask for him, this day, extraordinary strength to accomplish the things You would have him accomplish in the coming four years. We ask that he might at all times seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and then go about the earthly tasks he must do. We ask that he might soar on wings as an eagle because he is renewed daily by sweet fellowship with His Savior. We ask that he might be disciplined in his study of Your word, and in prayer. We ask that he might be guided by Your voice in everything he does. Help him to think only on things that are pure and excellent, noble and lovely, and that his mind might be stayed on You.
We pray for blessing and protection for him and for Laura and all of his family. We especially pray tonight for his Cabinet, those that are leaving and those coming, that the transition might be smooth and gracious, and that there would be no problems as responsibilities go from one to another. We thank You for the nomination of Condoleezza Rice, and ask You for a special wisdom to be granted to her. Help her to seek You, Lord, as she takes on this awesome responsibility, and bring her closer to Your side. We pray for wisdom for the President in the selection of all new Cabinet members, that they might be members of a team whose goal it is to honor You, and to be obedient to Your leading.
We pray tonight for our brave military, and especially for those who are engaged in this great battle for Iraq. We ask that You might give them continued protection, and that there might be minimal casualties. We pray that Your presence might be felt as they encounter danger, and that they might have Your peace in battle. Grant healing to those who have suffered injury, and comfort for the families of those who have fallen. Lord, we thank You for these brave men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line for our freedom and safety.
And finally, Father, we pray for this nation. Lord, You have blessed us greatly with freedom and abundant riches, and we ask that we might be good stewards of the gifts You have bestowed upon us. Help us to be a beacon of light and truth to the world, and may Your children here in America remember not only to pray for the future of this country and its leaders, but also to be a witness to those around us of Your great love for us that caused You to send Your Son Jesus to sacrifice His life for our redemption. Thank You for that love, dear Lord! In the Name of Jesus, our strength and our Redeemer, we pray, Amen!
Please come and pray with us tonight!!
Joining you in prayer today and every day.
George, patron saint of the military.
"I guide you in the way of wisdom, and lead you along straight paths" Proverbs 4:11
Dear Father in Heaven, lead and guide our president this day and all the days of his life so that the voice of another he will not follow.
Our Merciful Master,
We come into Your Presence this day Rejoicing in Your Greatness, and Thankful for Your Merciful Love. Our souls are still Awed by Answered Prayer, as we Bask in the Victory You have Granted to our President. We did not Merit this Mercy You have Given; our Nation has departed the Godly Path our Ancestors Laid down for us, and we have gone our own way, the way that leads to death and destruction. But for Your Own Mercies' Sake You have Done this Wonder for us, and the thought of Your Inexpressible Grace Fills our hearts Worship, Thanksgiving and Praise!
O Master, we bring our brother-President before You now, Asking that Your Sovereign Protection will Abide over him wherever he goes, Setting a Hedge all around him, that those who are enflamed with rage at his Victory will be unable to get to him. Baptize him in Your Own Wisdom and Discernment, that his every Appointment, including Judicial, will be Hand-Picked by our Sovereign Lord Himself, Insuring both Excellency and Success. Open his mind to the Treasures of Your Word, Granting Your Spirit of Grace to Enlighten every Part, that our brother may Grow Daily in the Grace and Knowledge of our King Jesus Christ.
Fill his soul with Power, Heavenly Father, as he bears Your Royal Name before the heathens and pagans of the earth, and Use him Mightily to usher souls into Your Kingdom in these last days of the Ages. O Lord! Our souls Desire Most Fervently that Your Glory will be made Manifest before the eyes of a watching world; that whenever Your servant is seen, it will be Christ that comes into View, to the Praise of Your Glorious Grace.
We Implore You, our Lord and Master, that our Military will remain in Your Gracious Favor, as they Deliver Justice to those who have sought and earned it. Wrap every soul in the Sovereign Protection of the Highest, and Grant that Jesus Christ will be the Constant Companion of every Trusting heart. We Plead also for Your Continual Favor and Peace to Rest upon beloved Israel, Preserving her from her enemies, and Keeping her in an Honorable Place among the Nations of the world. We Love You, Father Jehovah, and Thank You for Hearing and Answering our prayers. We Exalt, Honor, Praise and Bless You, and pray in Your Name, and for Your Glory, amen.
May God guide and protect the President and our troops, and may the terrorists fail.
Lord,
Hear our prayers!
And thank you for answered prayers.
Amen.
AMEN OHIO AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE TO YOU BRETHREN!
Ps 84:1 To the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young-Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah
9 O God, behold our shield, And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
(NKJV}
Dear Lord,
we thankyou for this prayer ministry and all who join in prayer.

we pray for our brave troops, may they be safe in Your hands, and may their families be comforted by Your touch.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul."
- Lamentations 3:24
It is not "The Lord is partly my portion," nor "The Lord is in my
portion"; but he himself makes up the sum total of my soul's inheritance.
Within the circumference of that circle lies all that we possess or
desire. The Lord is my portion.
Not his grace merely, nor his love, nor his covenant, but Jehovah
himself.
He has chosen us for his portion, and we have chosen him for ours.
It is true that the Lord must first choose our inheritance for us, or
else we shall never choose it for ourselves; but if we are really called
according to the purpose of electing love, we can sing-
"Lov'd of my God for him again
With love intense I burn;
Chosen of him ere time began,
I choose him in return."
The Lord is our all-sufficient portion. God fills himself; and if God is
all-sufficient in himself, he must be all- sufficient for us. It is not
easy to satisfy man's desires. When he dreams that he is satisfied, anon
he wakes to the perception that there is somewhat yet beyond, and
straightway the horse-leech in his heart cries, "Give, give." But all that
we can wish for is to be found in our divine portion, so that we ask,
"Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I
desire beside thee." Well may we "delight ourselves in the Lord" who makes
us to drink of the river of his pleasures. Our faith stretches her wings
and mounts like an eagle into the heaven of divine love as to her proper
dwelling-place.
"The lines have fallen to us in pleasant places; yea, we have a goodly
heritage.
" Let us rejoice in the Lord always; let us show to the world that we are
a happy and a blessed people, and thus induce them to exclaim, "We will go
with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

SOLI DEO GLORIA!!!!!
It doesnt take much
For my heart to break
And You have done it
For whats seems the millionth time
Whenever I hear
Of Your saving grace
And how You gave Your life
In exchange for mine
Sometimes I wonder why You even love me
And why You ever chose to call me child
Then I remember
Its by Your sacrifice
I can say that
I am Yours and You are mine
It doesnt take much
For me to shed a tear
And You have done so many things
To make me cry
Whenever I think
Of all that Ive done wrong
And everything that You have done
To make it right
It doesnt take much
For my heart to break
And You have done it
For whats seems the millionth time
You Are Mine, Mac Powell
Lord, my prayer is that the abhorrent murder of Margaret Hasson will shock the Islamic world into a deep, indeed agonizing, assessment of its culture and where its best interests truly lie.
The war on terrorism is the flash point of a collision of cultures. And more than that, it is the struggle of light against darkness, a struggle that penetrates both sides, for our culture is not pure light and neither is theirs pure darkness.
When something this disgraceful happens, especially on a regular basis, it is time for the people identifying with the perpetrators to examine themselves to see if indeed they are walking in light.
The battle is costly, dear Lord; we knew it would be. We ask for grace upon grace for all engaged on the side of light, especially those caught in the very jaws of darkness. Be their comfort and peace and refuge. May a way for them where there was no way. Delivery them, but let their blood, if it must be shed, not be shed in vain, but redeem it by the repentance of many.
Bring revival, O Lord, to our land and to the world, for the sake of innocent life and for the purpose of the spread of Your kingdom and the knowledge of Your presence.
I ask that You strengthen the president and all who seek to serve Your purposes in their respective positions. I lift Ms. Rice to You, and ask that You anoint her with authority commensurate with her new office.
Soldiers have fallen, killed and wounded. We ask grace and comfort and healing for them and their families. Through their sacrifice we see a nation being healed of decades-festering societal wounds. We see a degenerate media finally being called to account for its decades of lies against our best and our bravest. And we rejoice.
Help the struggling nations, O Lord. Help Your nation Israel to survive. Bring moral sanity to post-Christian Europe, which should know better. Bring light to the Palestinians, so deeply held in darkness.
Draw our hearts to You, the very Purpose of our existence.
Thank you, kayak!
Amen and AMEN! THANK you, Blogger!
Amen, bella! Father, guide our President each day.
Wonderful prayer, Kitty. Thank you!
Thank you for praying with us for our President!
I was struck by this verse, alpha.
Our President surely is on a 'pilgrimage' to bring freedom to the oppressed and righteousness to this nation. May God guide him on his path!
God's forgiveness of our sins is an amazing thing, isn't it, Luvya? Thank you for that song.
Amen to your every word, Paul........but especially these.
