Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up our President to You today as he stands before You, a sinner, whom You have graced. Lord, he himself would be the first to admit that and to admit his need for Your guidance and direction in his life. And so, we pray for him to have that need and all of his needs fulfilled.

Father, give him wisdom as he makes important decisions regarding cabinet positions. Give him grace to succeed where others forecast only failure. And give him humor to lighten his load. Protect him and his family and the entire Bush administration. And, be glorified in America we pray. For it is in Jesus's lovely and wonderful name that we pray, amen.
