Could you give me the address of your son and unit? The local Kof C sent stuff to my son when he was with the 2ACR in Iraq, and they are looking to do the same for another unit. If he has enough stuff, he might give the address of others he might need something.

We rejoice with you and your family even as we offer up prayers for comfort for the family that did lose a son.
Thank you for giving us an update ... and particularly for sharing the story about the Bible. It gave me goosebumps! Please let your son know how much love and support there is back home and how grateful we are for his service.
May God continue to bless your son and all your family!

I read your earlier post and prayed that night that it wasn't your son. my nephew has been over there twice and is scheduled for a 3rd tour...and i hope all of you folks on FR will be praying for him. I am so glad that my prayers were answered for you and that your son is ok....may God bless the military, may God bless W and may God bless America!

Thanks for letting us know the status of your son. Thank God America has so many families like yours. While I am so happy to receive your news, I am equally discouraged to hear of the soldier who didn't survive.
Perhaps we Freepers can send condolences to the family of James c. Kearney,111.[see post 41 for info]Can someone find an address for us?

My prayers that night were a mixture of not wanting it to be my son and for the Lord to hold close whomevers family had lost their loved one.I was thinking of you the other day and it is wonderful to read this news for you and your family. But as you remind us by word and deed, many need our prayers and good work.
