I have to thank Jimmy Carter for saving my sanity.
Granted, his was not a presidency that one looks back to with fondness. Gas lines stretched forever, Iran took our people hostage, and there was disco.
But Carter's ex-presidency has been a model of that unofficial institution. He has built homes for the poor, mediated wars, helped feed the hungry in Africa, fought disease in Latin America. In so doing, Carter -- a deacon of Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga. -- has obeyed a directive that Jesus issued to one of his disciples.

Carter and all liberals support the revision of history, they ignore the true intent of the constitution, the first and second amendments, and use judges to illegally rewrite American law and then lie about it to our children.
They pretend to be Christians to fool the gullible and then ignore or pervert biblical morality...then they have parades that celebrate blatant abominations.

It is time for every Christian to stand up and be counted. It is also time for every Christian to be educated on the issues that concern the moral fiber of our country and the future of our families. The Bible tells us to listen to the voice of God and to obey His Commandments and He will cause His blessings to overtake us. If we do not use our freedom to defend our freedom, we will lose our freedom. The judgment of God will be upon us, our children, and our children's children.
Learn God's position on abortion, homosexuality, and your obligation as a Christian to be involved in the political process. If you are confused about your civil rights as a church or as a pastor, this book will define those guidelines.
It is time to do more than stand on a soap box and complain. Take a stand for righteousness. Register to vote. Vote our Christian beliefs. We must help take our Nation back to the God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We will not be acknowledged for the problems we recognize, but for the problems we help solve.

Jesus and His apostles certainly were not "virtue of selfishness" teachers. The problem with many on the left is that they try to take these admonitions for personal benevolence into a sanction for forced altruism enforced by the power of the government.

Discovered today! Possible Republican Voter Fraud scenarios:
1.The long line theory. Republicans voted slowly and elderly democrats left the line. Its a pity that Kerry mobilized lawyers, but strangely doctors were no where to be found on election day.
2. Mysterious traffic lights and signs. In the city of Dayton there were signs put up that said “No left turns.” At other intersections the signs read “Right Turn Only.”
3. Pizza Hut’s across Ohio had an all you could eat and drink specials at 5:00 on election day. All the beer and pizza you could eat for $5.99 if you had a college student ID. This was devastating to the Kerry effort as students awoke late after the “vote or Die” concerts and went straight to the Buffet.
4. Finally there is that Bowl and vote effort in Cleveland on election day. Discount bowling was available all day at many locations. Plus there were numerous clean cut kids helping the bowlers fill out their “Official ballots” to save them the effort of going to the polls that day. Only later will thousands learn that they votes may not actually be counted.
If there IS a conspiracy everyone is buying it except Kerry's own attorneys.
