Sen. Tom Daschle made a final pass before tearful supporters Wednesday, thanking them for their help in his unsuccessful re-election campaign and telling them their work is not finished.
"This is a difficult morning, and I don't want anybody in this room to feel angry or sad, because all of those challenges that motivated us to do what we wanted to do in elective office are still out there," Daschle told 300 people at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

"There's a good chance he'll come back to the state and work in health care and education and all the things he cares about," she said."

THe Aberdeen American News has said they are doing a special tribute to Daschle and publishing letters of thanks or fun little stories of Daschle and his impact on people's lives in South Dakota.

If only when the two idiots did their despicably dishonest demogouery with the Lexus and the muffler, we could have seen the future. Never could we have dreamed that in a few short years one would be gone and the other marginalized. What a fabulous dream indeed.

Anyone want to bet me on these two items:
1. He will refile his homestead exemption on his $1,500,000 home in Washingto DC as his permanent address.
2. He will not be moving back to his mother's house in S. Dakota as a permanent home.
He'll be working for SD from DC. I can't see Tiny Tom maintaining a residence in SD now that he no longer has to.
Daschle thanks disappointed supporters but vows to keep working for South Dakota.....

Tom Daschle gone is a dream come true...
He's always been a creep, but this election cycle was just the last straw. His obstructionism, his discouraging the troops and slandering a seated president in a time of war...truly despicable.
In olden days, the kind of activity Little Tommy engaged in would've gotten him prison time...or a good rope swing for treason.
I'll just settle for having Mr. "Conservative Christians are the moral equivalent of the Taliban" gone. You're the moral equivalent of ZERO, now, Tommie Boy!
