Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

Shep is great, refreshing in a world of deadpan reporting.

I agree. I love Shep. And great voice.

Sean, Brit, and Fred are the only conservatives on Fox.

E.D. is a Democrat, but I see her as more of a conservative Democrat. I don't think she's crazy about gay marriage and abortion. I believe that she risked her life to give birth to one of her children several years back even after a physician advised her to terminate her pregnancy. I think she went for a second opinion and things turned out just fine.

Carl Cameron definitely on the right, but fair. I think he hated traveling with the Kerry campaign.

Where has Linda Vester been lately?

And what happened to Heather Nauert that used to be on Gibson's show?

Linda Vester is taking a year long maternity leave. She was pregnant when she left her show some time ago, but I don't know exactly when the baby is due. Heather Nauert is now with ABC news in some form or fashion. I haven't seen her since she left Fox, but I don't watch ABC so I guess that would explain things!

Wasn't that Rush's girlfriend (or galpal as the tabloids call them, hehe) that Shep got into the parking scuffle with?

Shep does have that naughty look about him.

Sean, Brit, and Fred are the only conservatives on Fox.

And John Gibson, Neil Cavuto, Mike Jarrick & Juliet Huddy (of Fox & Friends Weekend), John Kasich (Heartland), etc., etc., etc. plus many right of center reporters as well.

I'd add new Fox News show host and reporter Bill Hemmer to the right of center group as well.

I was reading while the TV was on this evening, but I THOUGHT I heard Shepard Smith say something about how easy it was for him to get into New Orleans, and wondering why it took the armed forces so long to get there.

If that's what he said, well, duhhh! He was moving one measly satellite truck, and the armed forces contingent was a lot bigger. General Smith, large military formations take time to get moving!

What else would you expect from an Ole Miss grad who chose to live in New York? Go Dawgs!
