Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

Carl Cameron makes me ill. I believe he actually ENJOYED doing all those pro-kerry pieces over the whole election cycle.

Chris Wallace? puke a lung. He ruined fox news sunday.

O'Reilly? Dang it, never gonna watch again (except fridays when you are gone). I mean it. no dont bother booking Dick Morris, aint gonna help

Linda Vester? oooooh, lovely linda, you're my kinda girl, great head on your shoulders too!

Martha McCullough - Megyn Kendall - Julie Kurtz - Edie - Kieren - fantastic

Brian Kilmeade, Steve Ducey, Jim Angle, Britt, Tony, Fred, Ollie, Niel, - love ya all (but not in a gay sort of way of course)

THANKS FNC!

I agree. H & C would be much better without the C. There are times I actually flip to another channel to avoid watching C.

Actually, I enjoy the weekend F&F. Julian is obnoxious, and liberal. Mike Jerrick seems to be their moderate. And Juliet is very easy on the eyes.

Also, Ellen Ratner is going to be on in a bit, eating crow after guaranteeing Ketchup Boy would win last week. Normally, I just tune out her nastiness, but today should be fun. ;^)

True..but Shep gets points for trying to run over a CNN reporterette in Florida in 2000, when she wouldn't get out of his parking space..

Michael Barone - solid conservative analyst. As for William Kristol, you can't always be sure where he'll go. Fred Barnes - knowledgeable conservative. FOX NEWS has some good people although they screwed it up last Tuesday afternoon when their talking heads uniformly predicted a Kerry presidency.

Actually, I think Carl Cameron leans to the right. He almost got kicked off the Ketchup Boy campaign when some test filler in a story he was writing was accidentally published, because it was NOT flattering stuff.

Brit Hume, Charles Krauthammer and Neil Cavuto are the most conervative.

When I see that a broadcast is PC driven, that is, Gender representation, Race representation, and Intelligence representation, I USUALLY TURN IT OFF!

Kristol was a McCain guy in 2000, and he still is.

Michael Barone and Frdd Barnes....interesting that Barone mentioned on election night that he 'used to work in Democratic politics'.....and Fred Barnes was once the editor in chief the old leftie rag The New Republic......hmmm....maybe they both got religion later in life????????

Really I didn't know that. I live in Memphis, and we are arch rivals with Ole Miss. The reason for my bias.

"I can't believe no one has spewed on Whoraldo yet."

We try to forget that he's actually employed at FoxNews. Maybe they have him around to remind folks what a mediocre tabloid dandy is really like. I'll be willing to bet that he and Bill O' spend more time in front of a mirror than John Edwards.

I'd say you're correct on those four names. I'd add

John Scott - right (and a good newsman, too)

Major Garrett - right

Carl Cameron - down the middle, keeps his opnions pretty much hidden.

Sheperd Smith - very definitely a lefty, I'd say partly because of gay rights.

The Judge - down the middle. I'd guess right-leaning, however. I respect the Judge's opinions, I know not everyone agrees with me.
