28% of Democrats apparently think that Kerry won the election.
If I recall reading his "piece" this morning, he was published in Harper's, correct?
It is time these lunatics are called what they are. What a disgrace that he is given a platform and granted even a whiff of credibility.
He's a race-baiting jerk.
For the first time ever yesterday, I listened to a little of Air America. I wanted to hear and enjoy their pain. This clown was on their. He is insane.
Why doesn't the guy check Kerry's people. THEY are the ones that said that the provisional ballots were NOT in Democratic strongholds...but were in fact throughout the rest of Ohio. Believe me, if they had been from Cuyahoga County, Kerry would NEVER have conceded. What about the absentees? Have they been included yet?
No kidding.
Palast is claiming that all the provisional ballots are from blacks.....
Of course..he has nothing to back that up.
If he wants to scream racism.....about polls in minority districts....then he will have to admit that DEMOCRATS ARE RACIST.
Because that's who runs those precincts.
That's how they keep the base fired up Doug.
Everytime they lose, claim they were cheated.. It keeps them fired up. Michael Moore will probably have a vote fraud "documentary" coming out before 2008, to line his fat pockets with more $$$ off these idiots. Bank on it.
Sometimes I wonder if Michael Moore is really a conservative who is knowingly suckering all these imbeciles to line his own pockets. It looks like he's in good business for the next four years anyway to pocket another $100 million.
He is quite the capitalist.
Airhead America is liberal conspiracy radio.......and it is bad conspriracy radio at that.
When those pinheads are even too bogus for conspiracy theories.........that's bad.
Palast blamed Republicans for the phoney voters registrations in OH??? I have archived news articles that say different. I don't recall the GOP handing out crack... and maybe, Palast ought to stop smoking that stuff.
Medved just nailed the issue. If Palast is right, why did Kerry concede. This is especially true in the 2000 election. A sitting VP concedes when his biggest supporter is the POTUS. If the election was stolen, why would Gore and Clinton concede? The only logical conclusion is they wanted Bush to win, which is of course looney tunes.
The second sentce should read We have to have new fields to plow, replow and plow again. Spell check screwed it up.
Kerry conceded because he couldn't afford a great deal of scrutiny of the count in some of the neighboring states.
Those of us at the Diebold Corporation take exception to that.
BTW - sorry about that mishap in Pennsylvania. What can I say the kid got the numbers backwards to pre-plug into the machines. Boss's kid, sheesh.
But on the other hand, the guys in Florida really came through.
Diebold - Count on us to make the country see Red.
A little more fuel on the fire for the DUmmies.
This guy is simply a publicity-hound seeking to support his web-site. His hypothesis is contrived and ludicrous. On election-day, I served as a Republican challenger in a heavily black inner-city precinct in a northeastern city. We had no provisionals and every voter having registration problems got assistance and eventually got to vote. The precinct was run by black Democrats. I guess my Republican caucasion appearance wasn't able to influence the election officials there as challengers in Ohio black precincts apparently did.
About 85,000 of the provisionals came from counties Kerry won in Ohio. About 70,000 came from counties that Bush won in Ohio.
I figure there has to be a significant number of Bush votes contained in those 155,000 provisional ballots as well (probably 30% to 40% at least of the ones that are validated and counted). That's what the Kerry people figured out as well and why Kerry conceded.
I've read here on FR and heard on talk radio severals republicans calling in to say they had to cast provisional ballots in Ohio.
The subtle racism on the part of kooks like Palast is disgusting. Why are ballot controversies always centered around blacks? Loons like Palast persistently perpetuate the notion that blacks in general are stupid. I'm sick of it.
Don't forget - by listening to him ALL the votes not counted are from blacks! All 100,000 of them!
In fact, there was a woman on Rush on Election day who said she and her husband had to vote Provisionally (for Bush) in AKron...a traditionally Democratic area. She had voted in the same place for 10 years, but when she went to vote..her name wasn't on the list. Those are TWO that are counting for Bush
