About 85,000 of the provisionals came from counties Kerry won in Ohio. About 70,000 came from counties that Bush won in Ohio.
I figure there has to be a significant number of Bush votes contained in those 155,000 provisional ballots as well (probably 30% to 40% at least of the ones that are validated and counted). That's what the Kerry people figured out as well and why Kerry conceded.
I've read here on FR and heard on talk radio severals republicans calling in to say they had to cast provisional ballots in Ohio.
In fact, there was a woman on Rush on Election day who said she and her husband had to vote Provisionally (for Bush) in AKron...a traditionally Democratic area. She had voted in the same place for 10 years, but when she went to vote..her name wasn't on the list. Those are TWO that are counting for Bush
