Because Daschle has perfected the art of "soft speakin'", he knows where all the bodies are buried and he needs a job. Someone also said "he can't go back to South Dakota" poor baby. And the liberals are all about charity works.

Oh Goodie! Letting Dean run the DNC is like letting Jerry Garcia run the DEA.

I really hope this rumor is true. It will win elections, but it will make it more difficult to fight the war, because the vitriol will increase.

All the candidates running in my County except for one incumbent Dem were Dean supporters -- they all got toasted really bad. All his supporters here in Oklahoma are pro-gay, pro-abortion, and pro-Sierra Club.

This would be like a dream come true as the RATs go further left!

Iam hearing similar...that Hillary is really going to be working more on her Senate campaign in 2006 than President in 2008. People need to step back from the hype and listen from within.

You asked: "But why would the democRats elevate a moron who was just kicked out of office, because he was an ineffective Senator, and an obstructionist?????"

Answer: You got it!

Considering that Hitlery is now strategizing for her 2008 campaign and she wants her own person, I can believe McAuliffe's removal would open the door for her loyalist.

1. I'll believe they've fired Terry McAuliffe when I see it. I thought he was (and from the Democrats' standpoint, should have been) gone after 2002, and that didn't happen.

2. Howard Dean is an entertaining soul, to be sure (I chuckled at the Yahoo! radio ads), but I'm not sure he's going to be the guy to lead the Democrats back to glory.

say it ain't so. terry mac has been so good for the gop as dnc chair. i hope he stays in that seat for life. remember these teery mac predictions:

1. "jeb is gone"! hmmm. sorry terry he seems to have been re-elected by a wide margin.

2. "the dems will regain both the senate and the house in the 2002 midterm elections." not quite, but the gop did manage to regain the senate and pickup seats in the house. that is i believe a historical first.

3. "john kerry is going to win the popular vote and get 330 electoral votes." really, somehow he came up just short.

Dean ("Take Back America" July 2004): "Sooner or later, voters in places like that (the South) are going to grow tired of voting on guns, God and gays and start voting on education, health care and jobs,"

I guess that would be big later LOL! God will give us the sweat to provide our own education, health care and jobs. We don't need any help from shrimp like you and Reich.

The democrat party will now proceed to fade into obscurity. Remember that this party refused to accept the signal from 2002 where it was made clear they are too far to the left. Instead they loudly proclaimed that they werent far enough to the left.

Now again the democrat party has moved to the left, and now so far to the left that the Communist Party USA didnt run a candidate and instead endorsed the Democrats. Yassir Arafat Endorsed the Democrats. Even Osama Bin Laden endorsed the democrats!

They will move to obscurity and finally be extinguished into the dustbin of history. Remember the federalist party? What about the Whigs? Remember the Democrats?
