The DU would take delight in a report of any scourge or disease on a Republican. I wish they could read this thread and see that we are the compassionate ones out there.
They knew this before today and hid it from the campaign. It would have distracted John.
But I disagree with you: If they had revealed this Monday, it would have been 5 percentage GAIN for the Edwards ticket!

Having had a close call this past June, I understand the terror that she must be feeling.
May God bring strength and healing to her and her family.

I'm sure she had months of tests. The call from the doctor probably came Nov. 3. And was probably delayed because they didn't want to be distracted before the election. She must be so very sad and depressed. I feel sorry for her, even with the Mary Cheney nonsense.

Last Saturday I attended the funeral of a dear friend who lost her two year battle with breast cancer, and left four little kids, ages 5 to 11. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. And the Edwards kids need their mother.
On the other hand, my sister had it four years ago, and she's fine now.
You never know.

Although I wish her a speedy recovery, you can't help but know they knew this for a while.

God is not mocked, you reap what you sow. I'm sorry folks but we all have to learn that you cannot go around spewing hatred and leave the door wide open to satan. He comes in like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. I truly hope she can recover, as I pray for her and Elizabeth Taylor, also with cancer.
Hm when it rains it pours. Thank goodness though that they didnt announce this before the election. At least he had class enough for that.
I hope she has a speedy recovery. It's a difficult time for the Edwards family.
No one should wish the Edwards ill will and I hope she pulls through. I also hope she can find a doctor willing to treat her.

My estimation of Kerry and Edwards just went up for not announcing this the day before the election in order to gain sympathy votes.
