BOOKIES SAY HILLARY FAVORITE FOR 2008

Britain's Scotsman reports that Hillary Clinton today was named favorite to win the next U.S. presidential vote in 2008 after George Bush won re-election to the White House.

The wife of former President Bill Clinton was installed at 5-to-1 odds by the betting agency Ladbrokes and 6-to-1 by William Hill to take over from Bush after his second term.

Bush was Ladbrokes' favorite for the whole of the election campaign. It's estimated that some 8 million pounds was spent wagering the U.S. election.

Ladbrokes has Hillary Clinton at 5-1 followed by former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani at 7-1 and Kerry running mate John Edwards at 8-1.

Wealthy liberals don't have any better use for their money ...

We should raise taxes, not on the rich, but on the liberals !

They can fund their own programs, as long as they don't infringe on our rights.

I suppose I agree, but, I cannot see how this country can go through another one of these bloodbaths of a campaign. I believe people want to see issues addressed, not just defined.

I just don't want to hear about that woman especially today. I know it's coming, but I don't want to hear about her.

She doesn't cause me a bit of concern. Run, Hillary, Run!

Hillary Clinton, the potential Hitler of our time, is now in position to take over the country.

2008 is going to be a biggie. We have 4 years to find a good candidate. I think we will.

A caller on Neil Boortz today said he's betting on a Hillary/Obama ticket for 2008. The media sure consider them the stars of the party.

"A majority of voters in this country are not going to vote for the Hildabeast."

She may not get a majority, but she is likely to get 46+ percent of the vote along with the NE and the left coast EVs. If the Dem s figure out a way to win FL or OH or any of the south states, she could win it all. Heck, you could put Saddam on the Dem ticket and with the MSM paving the way he would probably get 46+ percent of the vote and carry NY and CA.

Ashcroft? Don't think so. Too much of a magnet for negativity. I'm thinking Condi Rice.
