Yes, this is a vanity, but please don't flame me. I am curious what station you watched last night for election results? And why were there 2 different Fox broadcasts (one with Shephard Smith and the other had Brit Hume)? I was actually not as impressed with Fox as I hoped I'd be, I found their panel fairly dull - CBS was a joke of course, NBC and ABC were actually not all that vomit-inducing as I expected them to be. But Today show sure looked and acted glum this morning! I am just so excited for President Bush
I was watching a re-run of Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings on Tivo sitting in my hot tub.
freerepublic.com
:-)
No TV. Free Republic was much more dynamic and reliable.
Fox and FreeRepublic until 6:30 this morning. Man, am I tired!
I never turned on my TV -- even though I was in the same room with my 42-inch plasma.....
Instead, I listened to Hugh Hewitt's Salem Radio coverage: it was the best election coverage I've ever heard.
Props to Hugh and Generalisimo.
I watched them all. My observations: George Steph.... could have used a box of kleenex. Dan rather must have been convinced to take some prozac about 1:00 am after he started to lose it. peter jennings had such a long face but then rallied and started getting real snippy toward the end with the ohio secretary of state and ed gillespie (RNC chairman) when NBC, MSNBC, and FNC declared Bush the winner. My biggest surprise was that I didn't see any puffy eyes on perky katie this morning.
Same here. FR all the time.

Free Republic
Nick at Nite...reruns of Three's Company and Cheers. Fox and PMSNBC at commercial time, but no obsessing!
OOPS! Time for a new tagline!
I kept my TV on CBS just to watch Rather and Scheifer sitting on each others laps like dummies (occasionally having to adjust the contrast as Rather turned blue) while online I flipped back and forth between Freerepublic, Drudge and RealClearPolitics.
FOX News Ch ninety nine one-hundreds percent PURE. :)
Honestly, I did not watch any TV and listened to a total of twenty minutes of radio. I watched Free Republic the whole time.
Fox News both nation, and local Fox 90%. The other 10% was CNN, ABC, NBC, and MSNBC. I looked at CBS one time. Dan was just in denial as usual so I turned it.
Fox was a dude last night.. I flipped between cnn and Fox. Brit was messing up at 8:00.
dud. Sorry lack of sleep!!!
Channel surfed -- I still owe Esterich for giving such a huge laugh when she tee-heed about her "sources who assure her"
But I wanted to see the different spin-meisters and man, was it funny when the numbers started to coalesce and the exit polls were all wrong.
Fox News. Fell asleep watching it in my Cleveland hotel and woke at 5:00 or so seeing it. For those of you that have not done campaign work, I feel so good having contributed to the GOTV effort in Cayuhoga County. I highly recommend it. Many of the volunteers were students but there were also 52 y/o folks like me. I'm ready to do it for our governor (Erlich/Steele in MD) in a couple years and look forward to 2008.
