The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. |

Yup. Would cause quite an explosion. And realistically it could be done with a line or tanker. I don't even want to think about it. Uggg.
SlowBoat, ping to knak's post 1162.

I remember when there was talk of putting an LNG terminal at Newport News, VA, where I grew up. People were afraid of an accident that would essentially spread a sheet of flame over the water and across the land. There's your lawn of golden jewels.

You're welcome for the links. Really nice job for your first night digging in. LOL! Please be sure to stick around. Could one of you folks put together the analysis beginning with the origional post, then the TEXAS identification and summarize the rest of the thoughts. It has been a great discussion and some additional things might become apparent if it was all wrapped up. Please Ping me when you post. Thanks.

It's been a few years since we sold our sailboat so I'm rusty on my navigation rules. Port and starboard lights, red and green. Was it two red, one green? Or was it ever three red, two green in shipping channels? Am I making sense?

Doubtful you'll be at the right place at the right time if you're standing a post, especially with the Guard....since in many cases those M16's or M4's don't even have a loaded mag in the weapon. You're far better off if you live in a RTC state and exercise your rights by carrying (lawfully) a concealed 45 everywhere you go.....Trust me, there is a terror attack coming to a mall near you! The cops and soldiers in uniform will be the very first targets. But the lawfully armed citizens may very well save the day. This of course is an enduring RAT nightmare....
