With Bush having a 400,000 lead over Kerry in Florida, Mathews claims it's too close to call!

Very early in pa...will take a while to sort out. If we win florida and ohio, then its not near as crucial. Bush will win!

Lots of girls calling in to a local radio station the other day saying they were voting for Dubya this year. He seems to have won over a lot of the females. ^_^

Why are they calling NJ for Kerry with a 50-49 percentage and only 2% reporting? I think it's a lot closer than they think judging by what I saw all over NJ today

I am about ready to impugn their motives. They waited a gracious plenty to call states where President Bush clearly was the winner, and have called very early states which have so far not evidenced any such tendency toward one candidate or another. Look at Connecticut:

Connecticut race for President

6 of 759 precincts - 1 percent
x- John F. Kerry Dem 4,335 - 49 percent
  George W. Bush (i) Rep 4,327 - 49 percent
  Ralph Nader PEC 99 - 1 percent
  David Cobb Grn 44 - 0 percent
  Michael Badnarik Lib 18 - 0 percent
  Michael Peroutka CC 5 - 0 percent

It's a tie right now, but they called it very, very early. SC, NC, Tennessee, and Virginia clearly were ahead, and they were called much later in the sequence.

But that is as it has been, and probably will continue to be so. On this night, however, I don't think it will be at all effective:

Candidate Electoral States Won Vote % Votes
Republican Bush 102 10 55% 6,797,793
Democrat Kerry 77 9 44% 5,478,620

We are winning!
