They just called hawaii for kerry yet cannot call iowa or nm for Bush. Talk about a double standard!
I actually look for the Beast to run in 2008; I DREAD IT!!
Oh,crap, this is ridiculous.
Yes...he was a local university professor. That's what he said; I was aghast! I recognized the local reporters...but here they were talking about OHIO! Totally bizarre.
That's why Iowa hasn't been called yet; they are holding out on orders.
Bush needs any one of NM, NV or IOWA - not all of them.
He has won Ohio, absent this nonsense from the Dems.
Good morning!!! Isn't it terrific? We WON and it is a clear win this time!
What are you watching, Fox News panel is signing off for the night.
Have a good sleep, you should by now! ;-) Noone can take away the deserved victory of "W".
Hopefully there are some grown ups in the democratic party.
What can we do besides just get angry? I'm being serious...what do we do now? This is out of hand, it is inexcusable, and I am afraid the media and the Dems are just going to be let off the hook again to cause torment another day. WHAT CAN WE DO?
And it seems Wolf Blitzer is leading the charge.
I don't understand how they can keep calling states for Kerry and refuse to call any for Bush when he is clearly the winner in Nevada, Iowa and NM.
You're kidding! Didn't NM go for Gore in 2000?
Dem talking points on MSNBC - mystery "provisional ballots" left in Ohio to swing for Kerry.
OHIO update from http://election.sos.state.oh.us/results/RaceDetail.aspx?race=PP
Bush, George W. Republican 2,682,209 51.30%
Kerry, John F. Democratic 2,521,053 48.22%
Precincts Reporting: 95.70% 5,228,530
First, Ken Blackwell knows his stuff, and so do the election boards in this state.
Secondly, Blackwell says the provisional ballots are likely to split between the parties, and may even favor the GOP. The victory margin will hold.
Finally, the General Assembly sends the electors to the Electoral College. We own the Assembly.
Game.Set.Match.
Kristol say clear victory for Bush. Big moment in American politics due to pick ups in house and senate. Mort says Europe will be bummed. Popular vote will bum them out as well as no change in foreign policy.
I say. Hey Europe, I am from Texas and you can KISS MY GRITS!!
I've called New Mexico for BUSH!
New Mexico - 99% - Bush up 29,955
Iowa - 97% - Bush up 11,563
Nevada - 80% - Bush up 13,161
Wisconsin - 88% - KERRY up 15,781
Ohio is the icing...
Looks like Bush will win Iowa and Nevada -- those 12 EVs along with New Mexico's 5 EVs puts Bush at 271
Iowa has restarted its count!! Per Hugh Hewitt.
