This is high comedy folks. If I were Bush, I'd come out and give a victory speech right now and go back to running the country. There is NO way that this election can be successfully contested!
With 97% of the Ohio vote in, Bush has a 130,000+ vote lead. No recount. No possible overturn with the provisional ballots. Game over.
Hawaii to Kerry via Brokaw too.
I'm no legal expert, but is it possible, after all this is over, to file a class action lawsuit against Kerry and Edwards for pulling this shiite?
CNN: | Bush = 249 | Kerry = 238 |
Drudge: "BUSH WINS!!" | ||
Yahoo: | Bush = 249 | Kerry = 221 |
MegaPundit: | Bush = 269 | Kerry = 238 |
C-SPAN: | Bush = 249 | Kerry = 221 |
the stock market is going to plummet tomorrow I think - it hates uncertainty, and this election is being contested.
Bush up by 3.5 million of the popular vote nationwide. (Remember how important that popular vote win was to Gore? Friend listening to NPR said they said "but 3.5 million is LESS THAN 1% of the total population!" ... Gore's popular vote "win" was only 450K. Does anyone recall the MSM pointing out what % of our total population that is!?0
SCUM!!!
How sad that once again Bush supporters must wait before hearing a victory speech. Pathetic cry babies who think it's theirs for the taking. Didn't I hear Kerry earlier say that tonight after the results are in, he will work to bring this country together? He forgot to add only if he was victorious.
Wolf just said, "Edwards was very precise in his statement, saying we can wait another day, or two, or three."
He said one, Wolf. He said "we can wait one day." Wolf.
my brother from Penn. just called...its 2 am there....he was so disgusted by the MSM today with all those exit polls.....he said he will never fall for any of that again....
Where are you getting your numbers? CNN reports 100% of Cuyahoga in.
Good question. I was using the NY Times and C-Span election maps and they both seeemed to stop updating at the same time.
"Extraordinarily improbable" - Pat Buchanan to Chris Matthews on whether there are enough Dem votes left for Kerry in remaining areas of Ohio.
Good night all.
You're right, they lost the trifecta, and next time the Dems will lose bigger, because people don't want to put up with this crap.
120,000 votes isn't close
Gore won the popular vote (well maybe) and lost by less than 1000 in Florida to begin with
His contesting the vote seemed a little sane, but Kerry contesting a win of 120,000 votes....unbelievable.
What's Nevada looking like?
(ahem) *TURNED* into?
cough-cough-cough cough cough... haaaaaooooocccckkkk!
'SCUSE me. Hairball.
please delete my post
Their base will stick with him .. but the moderate Dems will be in no mood
Remember what happen to Gore .. he is now a Laughing Stock in the Dem Party
LOL. New Mexico just hit 98% reporting and still hasn't been called. Has there ever been worse reporting?
