As I and many of my fellow expatriates are often hard pressed to get any non-biased information from the media (we are often stuck with CNN-International!!), I have decided to start this thread in the tradition of the Operation Iraqi Freedom Situation Room threads. I hope this meets with the approval of Jim & John and the Admin guys . . .
The purpose of this thread is to be a place to collect information from all sources into one area for discussion. Specific threads for specific topics and cross linking are highly encouraged.

I off to work aka Bush Rally. Everyone at my job (40+ people) are voting for bush today except for one lone democrat who is on vacation this week. I wonder how many times I'll hear "Kerry sucks" today? Can't wait.

Just voted in Pennsylvania...very old-fashioned machine...no lines. In fact, only one machine. Guess my area isn't expecting high voter turnout. Anyway, good feeling about PA for Bush.

Where in NC are you? I'm in Cabarrus County...pretty evenly split from the form they sent me. I'm leaving in a couple of hours..after everyone goes to work.
In my precint, there are just a few thousand registered anyway.

I just went to vote here in Atlanta GA and the wait is nearly 3 hours. I had to go to work and I will go back in a few hours. Most of the folks I talk to this morning are voting for Bush. In my 20+ years of voting I have never seen so many people waiting to vote. Let this be a good day for our President!

Voted in NYC. Therer were two voting booths and they told Republicans to vote in one booth, Democrats to vote in the other. I'd suggest raising the high sign to officials -- I would wager that a practice like that is illegal.

Congratulations!
Great feeling ain't it!
I'm headed out the door to vote now!
I first voted in 2000.

I was 23 when I first voted and I did it more out of curiousity than anything else. To be honest I did not feel comfortable doing it. This sounds stupid now but I felt very "unhip." So don't look for too many MTV types to be voting today despite all the hype.

I voted in a Methodist church today in northern Virgina displaying the Ten Commandments no less. Voter turnout was heavy but no one seem to be complaining they had to look at Bible verses posted around, they were offended or that the government was favoring on religion over another.
I expected mass riots and demostrations for this insensitive display. I'm surprise the government didn't make them cover up their material before they borrowed their facilities.
