Today's Topic: If I Were President, I Would.....? With the election going on today, we decided to make each of you "President" for a day. Now that you are ruling the country--what would you do? Would you give everyone Friday's off? Would you get rid of the income tax? What would you do? |
~ President (Insert Your Name) ~
Scenario
Before you sit down and do this, please GO VOTE!
America needs you. You have been made President for a day because the current one is going fishing on the new Mars settlement.
If I Were President, I Would...... Ban Taxes? Remove The Speed Limit? Repeal the Beer Tax? (Have to get a plug in for Burkaman 4 President!)
What would you do?
We want to know!! |
Now it's your turn to share. What would you do as President? |

Good afternoon beautiful!
I like the latest look.
How was the family outing to the polls?
I just returned from mine. Dad and I voted with the local fire chief and I had Spiderman (little boy in costume) peaking into my voting booth. LOL!

I VOTED! First time in Virginia! . . . I enjoyed not having to punch holes for 150 judicial retention things like I did every election in Chicago.
We had only 4 categories on the ballot: president; state rep; 2 state constitutional amendments.
Happy to report that it looks like everyone in the area is turning out to vote.

That's really not fair...you now have - probably - half a dozen of us feeling guilty that we can't come over and fix your seat...chair...situation!
Shall I call Sean on his show and ask if he can help you to a nice comfy chair??

Learn the ways cheating is done, and close those gaps. Put the Vegas Casino owners in charge, they'll have the cheating angles figured out in no time!

LOL That'd be nice about the comfy chair. I'm sure Sean would send me one, too!
In the meantime, I spoke with my daughter but her schedule is such that we probably couldn't do anything about a trip to Sam's for a chair until her next day off on Friday. She'd have to change plans for us to do that.
My sister-in-law is going to the local WalMart later today, so she's going to check to see what they have. She knows her mission: Something cheap to serve the purpose until I can find out if my present chair can be repaired or until I can afford something better.
(I'm semi-past the panic and pity-party stage now.) ;)
