| Today's Topic: If I Were President, I Would.....? With the election going on today, we decided to make each of you "President" for a day. Now that you are ruling the country--what would you do? Would you give everyone Friday's off? Would you get rid of the income tax? What would you do? |

America needs you. You have been made President for a day because the current one is going fishing on the new Mars settlement.
If I Were President, I Would...... Ban Taxes?
Remove The Speed Limit?
Repeal the Beer Tax? (Have to get a plug in for Burkaman 4 President!)

I would:
Repeal the income tax. Make it unconstitutional again. Replace with a FairTax type system.
Completely privatize Social Security
Obliterate terrorism, none of this "religion of peace" sh*t (love ya, W but let's get real)
Really tighten immigration
Get the US out of the UN, and UN out of the US
Many more but have to get to work!

If I were President I would pay special tribute to the people of Free Republic.
I was going to start to name names, but honest to heck, I'd just get in trouble. I personally want to thank everyone for making each day a new day. The effort and time given to this site is appreciated. Since I just hover around and poke my head in once in a while, I thought this would be good time to say, thank you. A ((hug)) for all.

I just got to work after voting. I got there at 6:50am, and about 20 folks were ahead of me. By the time they opened the "doors" (we got to wait inside in the hall of the school), at least twice that many were behind me. After voting there must have been 40 or so still in line. Yes, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!! LOL!

Yay! Love broken glass Pubbies! :^D I talked to one guy at Bally's this morning who asked if I already voted. I told him I voted on Oct. 18th in early voting. He hadn't yet, but was gonna vote at 1:30 today. I told him that at that time, he might not have TOO long a wait, and he agreed, adding "but I'll wait as long as it takes!" He was voting for Bush !!
