VERY Good News From a HIGH RANKING GOP Insider!!!

Posted on 11/01/2004 10:00:10 AM PST by jmstein7

For all you worry warts out there, I have some very good news from a very, very high ranking GOP insider.

In an email just sent to me, the insider writes the following:

President wins tomorrow and we end up up 3 [in the House]. Senate up 1.

-------------------------------------------------

Well, not as high as I'd like in the House and Senate, but I'll take it!

Keep your chins up, and get out there and vote tomorrow!

I'd like to lay some serious money against your insider's opinion of the Senate pick-up. Plus 2 minimum, possibly 4.

For one, I believe that Daschle is going down. He's never run for Senate during a presidential election. Tomorrow he's swimming against the tide of a probably 20 point lead for Bush in SD.

Any coat-tails at all and Daschle's history.

Not to match insiders, but mine says still down in Ohio and even in Florida. Of course, your person may have better info than mine. What more did he say? Or was it as cryptic as you indicate?

House prediction is consistent with what I have heard, as well.

"My VERY HIGH UP GOP insider says Pubbies keep White House, gain 5-6 in the House and four seats in the Senate."

Coop, since I don't have my own "VERY HIGH UP GOP insider", can I believe yours?

sounds like Dasc-hole stays

His org has signed up 10,000 new Indian voters. That's in a state with a TOTAL population of under 1 million. even if only half of thoise new reggies are valid, and they can half of that number to the polls, or vot'em absentee ... it's a big deal.

Pray.

Well I'm newly worried about the Presidential election, but I think the House/Senate estimates are too conservative. GOP has just got to gain more than 3, after the Texas redistricting. I'm sure they'll gain more than 1, I would think 1 would be a minimum. I guess we could lose Florida, South Dakota, Alaska, Colorado, Louisiana (if vitter doesn't get 50% he's done). I doubt we'd lose all of them though, gotta get lucky on at least a couple I hope? I really don't think we're going to lose North Carolina or Oklahoma. So what is that? I can't do the math right now.

4 in the senate versus only 1 sounds about right.

I do believe in Mr. Stein. Because of of his excellent work in being a genral pain in the rear end to the Dimwit party, he has friends in high places. Thanks Jonathan!

Wrongo - at least 2 extra seats in the Senate. The rest is OK.

They are being conservative (go figure) so their worst disappointment is a winner and anything extra is cause for real celebrations...

I call BS. The Dems are pulling out all the stops to make voter fraud work this time.

Pardon double post. Think of it as a Democrat Absentee Ballot. It is that easy.

KJL might be talking to the lower down GOP insider that depressed the Kerry Spot guy. Jim G and KJL are both NRO people so they probably use the same insider.

The other thing I was thinking was that the first Kerry Spot insider that said the OH numbers for yesterday were terrible could have been talking about the Gallup poll for OH showing Kerry +4. And if so, adding in the Kerry +4 for Florida, would show Bush losing. Which again, might explain why maybe it was this same insider gaving KJL a bad prediction. Kind of makes sense, doesn't it?

I have trouble with the statement, because if I was asked, which is the less likely scenario...Bush losing, or the GOP ONLY gaining 1 seat in the senate..I'd honestly have to say on;y gaining ONE seat...I fully expect we pick up 4+..

Only 1 in the Senate and 3 in the House? Hell, we'll pick up four seats in the House right here in Texas.

Since you won't identify your source, I don't believe you.
