Rush just said he doesn't know what's going to happen. Should be sent to the House of Reps.

Rush is funny today...he wants it decided by the House so he'll be blamed.

Vote...that's the catchword. Nobody knows what will happen.

I agree. Don't sweat the polls. Remember 2002, polls were wrong. Remember the Missouri vote on the Marriage Amendment, polls were off by 14 percent.

Good idea.

I sincerely hope that Rush gets a little more optimistic through the course of the show. Based upon what I have seen in other threads today the good guys are a little pessimistic and need a little pumping up.

I have to admit a little sense of gloom today although as I look out the window it is pouring down rain so that may have something to do with it. I can't wait to get out and vote tomorrow. I have prayed for awhile that W will win and I still think he will but I sure wish we had a bigger lead in the polls.

Rush sounds sad and somber.

One point lead in the final minute and the other team with the ball. The game doesn’t get any better than that. This is when the game is the most fun and the metal of a person is tested. That is when you need to know you are going to win and when the game is won. The election is perhaps close and perhaps not?? Can we really poll in a post 911 world?? Will the Bush voters actually answer the phones or are there voters like me who won’t answer a call that is not recognized? Do they answer a pollster truthfully and admit that they are afraid of the terrorist or do they just say they haven’t decided. We will find out tomorrow but all we know is right now the score is 0-0 with GW having a solid base in the South.

The best thing to do today is to ignore the Stone-age press and the polls and just go about your business. It is just another day and whatever happens tomorrow will happen. Do everything you can to get the votes in and let the people decide what the outcome is. There is still no doubt in my mind that GW is going to win and we will see the strength of the silent majority.

The major key to this vote is whether the Blacks are going to vote for Yaawn or are they staying home this time?? These polls are not picking up turnout from who or who for. If they do not vote in large numbers and in 95% then the election will be over in short order in states like PA, MI and OH along with FL. This is a very likely scenario.

One problem we political hounds have is that we live and die by the polls. These polls are all within the margin of error and likely the margin is an exaggeration. The calls that I make are extremely positive and large percentages are voting late because they don’t trust the counters. Look for a late surge for GW.

We are going to witness one of the greatest elections of all times. Ignore the press, ignore the polls because nobody can predict this. Only get out and vote and the Lord will carry the day. Seek comfort today and sleep well tonight because in the end the only thing you can do is pray for this comfort and the wisdom of our people.

Pray for W and Our Election

Rush's comparison to Blackhawk Down is dead on. If Kerry wins, the islamofacists will point to OBL's tape warning American states not to vote for Bush (whether or not the tape had anything to do with it). Kerry will pull us out of Iraq in the blink of an eye, and it will be Mogadishu all over again. The terrorists will see our retreat as a sign that we as a country are weak, and that we are not willing to pay the price for our own freedom. It will only encourage more and more terrorist attacks against us.

Okay, vanity here..this is my FIRST post!

As a 24/7 member, I feel it is appropriate to make my first comments here on a Rush thread.

I love Rush because he is able to put into words, my thoughts exactly. Tomorrow, I look forward to our "homeschool lesson" on the Election, and our *class* will be listening to Rush with great enthusiasm.

On another note.. my Swiss born hubby (socialist country remember!) will be voting this year for the first time...and yes...he is voting the RIGHT way.

Thanks to Rush!

Blessings to all...

Rush needs to keep reminding listeners that Kerry trashed the military in 1971, has been trashing the military while a senator, and is trashing the miltary now in this campaign.

Skip the details. Just repeat that Kerry is trashing the military. Thats all. No long winded explanations. Just repeat that Kerry's trashing the military. Like Reagan did to Carter. "There you go again" works for me. "You can run, but you cant hide" works too.
