self

Posted on 11/01/2004 7:01:24 AM PST by TheBigB

CONFESS, FReepers!!

CONFESS your deepest, darkest, most shameful secrets here!

If we spend all day poring over polls and looking for any scrap of election info, we'll go nutz.

We've gotta have some fun. :) And we can't spend ALL day on the thread about German penis size.

CONFESS, I say!

I saw Donovan in this pukey joint called the Musicians Exchange in Fort Lauderdale in the late eighties I think. Solo tour about 10 people in the audience. I'll always remember when he did this Hare Krishna-like production of the Continent of Atlantis on the Smother Brothers show circa 1970.

Even though your other post strikes me as a non-believer, I know you are a believer.

More like "none of the above". ;-)

Maybe not in what I believe but you know that existence is bigger than you.

Well of course.

I hope you are voting for President Bush tomorrow.

Absolutely! Wild horses couldn't keep me away, even though he's certain to win my state even without my help. He still deserves the vote of approval in the popular vote count -- and the Democrats still deserve the thumb-in-the-eye. As I vote I'll be mumbling, "eff you, Michael Moore".

LOL You're far from boring, Mr. Pukin Dog!

Okay, you asked for it. And, this one is true.

I own the Richard Marx greatest hits CD.

OHH One and SBS I had forgotten about. SBS was my favorite for a long time. I went to see them in -Oct or Nov of 2001 and they started that song and I was SO happy they played it.

We agree in more ways than either of us will admit. When I spoke before I was generalizing. I am glad you gave me a pass. As long as one believes in something greater than their own selfish needs, I support them. I do like selfish needs to an extent! ; )

I paid to see John Denver in concert (he put on a *great* show, by the way).

My whole family went to see John Denver in Ft. Worth in 1980. His mom lived there and so he tried to schedule a concert for her birthday. He had been home having dinner with his mom and performed as his own opening act, just him and his guitar because his band would need to rest instead of playing the entire night. He played from his heart.

My mom and dad, brothers with their wives and families, and me spent an incredible evening together. My mom suddenly died later that week. It was a time to remember.

Yeah, Sunday Bloody Sunday is a great song. I'd love to see it live.

And One might be my personal favorite (except for With or Without You). The lyrics in One are some of their best.

LOL! I know what you mean. One of our Dachshunds is nicknamed "Raptor", because she snaps for food and we've all been nailed in the fingers by her.

Ironically, the Rottweiler is gentle as a lamb and she nibbles food carefully from our fingers with never a slip-up.

Try DelMonte. Last time I bought ketchup, they had Hienz and generic. I bought the generic. Pretty good.
