Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest Tuesday Scott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.

Remember how she kissed up to OJ? He called her show and it made big news. Then, she got an exclusive with him on the to year anniversary.

Yeah, the problem with that one is, in order to take him down on it, they'd have to take "poor old oxygen-deprived, sick, pathetic Jackie P." down, too. And there are enough fools out there, I imagine, who would complain that they are being "mean" to the poor sick old woman.
I'm not sure if the judge will relax voting day, Tuesday..... all pending....

If these prosecutors were as mean as one I knew in New Orleans, they'd present him with a tube of KY after the guilty verdict.
Thing is, police don't just take vehicles because they want to. They take them for various legal reasons by law. Scott wasn't breaking any vehicle laws the last time I heard. He was a lawful licensed motorist!
I heard a report on newsradio today. They have a new medical term for our condition. Electoral nervosa.
I have it too...major stress from talking/arguing politics with family, friends and co-workers.
Many things from Geragos witness could be refuted. Hopefully the DA has more smarts to bring it on!

Maybe this is Geragos handing the inmate his grounds for an appeal on a silver platter. I really don't think MG had much to work with tho. Sociopathic-narccisistic, pathological liars are quite hard to defend in this age of media hype, GPS,taperecorded conversations, etc. Especially when the bodies of their wife and child wash up where they were fishing 90 miles away. /sarcasm
