Election 2004
Date Bush Kerry Today 49.6 45.9
(Excerpt) Read more at rasmussenreports.com ...
Its clear that Bush locked up the logger and sawmill vote last night after being outed as a Timber Tycoon.
..........
wasn't that the strangest remark?
Did any of the media follow up on that bizarre staement by Kerry that Bush owned a timber company?
I loved Bush's reply.
With smile, "What? I own a timber company? That's news to me..."
I am not sure that he did if he is not one of them.
Who to believe?
Bush did report income from a timber company, according to copies of his tax returns on a Web site operated by Tax Analysts, an Arlington, Virginia, publisher of tax information.
Bush earned $425,000 in income from partnerships in 2003, more than his presidential salary of $400,000.
Bush bounce? That's a pleasant thought in more ways than one.
....
Down, girl. (I hope girl!)
Guy you are quoting exact Rasmussen numbers and that's invalid. He holds partisan mix constant. We cannot know what the right mix will be.
All we can use Rasmussen for is deltas. We can see how events and tactics change opinion. It is a VERY good measure of that, but it is not a good measure of the absolute measure of the race. Him holding the partisan mix constant precludes him being able to see the recent registration surge for the Dems.
My husband and I own a small business and it took years of hard work to get to the $200k mark. Does anyone else think Kerry was highly insulting last night when he said that he, Bush and Gibson were the only ones in the room making over 200,000. He is clueless.
and Aussie Howard win..some good news was needed and it came.....
and after all that time and money spent down under by Kerry's sister in an attempt to influence a foreign election. Nothing shady about these folk.
Sorry, Kerry et ilk.
Hopefully, our voters will be as smart...
In the media's minds, it's still Kerry's election to lose. lol.
...........
Let's do our part to help him lose : )
One electoral map I saw last week, in the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, colored in CA as "Weakly" in Kerry's column -- I was amazed it wasn't colored solid for Kerry. Made me wonder if there was any *chance* for Bush here. Probably a pipe dream but you never know. I sure wish Arnold would spend some of his political capital over this next month and get on the campaign trail.
and let's not forget that Kerry expanded his definition of hie "Global Test" - "not just Global but elsewhere."
Huh? "Calling Mars...?"
There is no chance in California and suggusting otherwise is not helpful. Of course California conservatives wished it was otherwise, but it is not and therefore it is best if all California activists shift activities for the duration to finding a way to contribute in nearby Oregon and Nevada.
Nearly all of the polling was done BEFORE the debate.
Then the headline needs to be changed to "Cheney bounce." The Bush bounce will soon follow.
...........
LOL
Yes! Take a look:
John Kerry can tell if you make more than $200k a year, just by LOOKING at you!
Confirms what we all believe about the debate.
Maybe someone ought to give Fox News a clue
........
and a heads up - we can turn them off just as fast as we turned them on in the first place. We don't need - wont watch = more of the liberal slant hogwash.

Mars was a red planet, but now I think it's "leaning Kerry" after that comment.
He seems to be getting more shrill, i.e. he's increasing the forcefullness of his attacks. A sure sign of desperation,;
..................
like his silly remark last night that Bush owned a timber co.?
So off the wall
The Fox panel discussion last night was nothing short of bizarre. I told my husband they'd lost their collective minds!
Just remember, a lot of pundits thought Gore won the debates in 2000, but we now know that was *not* the case with the public...the Fox panel may change their tune once the reality of public response sets in.
Thanks, I had missed that!
