LOCKHART: DEBATE CONSENSUS A 'DRAW'
Unbeknownst to Kerry adviser Mike McCurry, a C-SPAN camera quietly followed McCurry as he found Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart on Spin Alley floor and asked him his impression of the debate. Lockhart candidly said to McCurry , The consensus is it was a draw.

Please talk up his reference to giving nuclear material to Iran for "peaceful purposes."

You can remember what Bush said two days later; congressman kerry just rambles like Sebastion the Ivy League professor.
Love the tag: B.H.of the Republic. Only song that can make me weep.

"Besides the lies, there was no substance. He didn't answer when asked for specifics about his great big secret Iraq "plan"--twice!, and he was FOR multilateralism for Iraq before he was AGAINST multilateralism for North Korea, and so forth and so on. His performance won't wear well."
I'm talking about Kerry, of course!!

LOL! That's not what he was telling Carl Cameron.

Lockhart candidly said to McCurry , The consensus is it was a draw. That's my take as well. Bush overall SLIGHTLY better if his expectations were lower, but Bush really needed to knock him out.

"He doesn't do well on multiple choice ones."
sKerry does tend to favor "E: All of the above" as a selection.

Here's the coolest thing about this: Whenever a Bush-Cheney spokesperson goes on a talkshow between now and the second debate and is questioned along the lines of "opinion polls show a Kerry 'win' in this debate" or somesuch, the BC 04 spokesperson can say, "Well, we think that we won but, at worst, it was a draw. Heck, even one of John Kerry's senior advisors admitted as much!"

Didn't everyone say the pundits following the debate would be raving about Kerry and making him look like the victor? That's exactly what they're doing. But... it may not be what they really believe. I was trying to be as objective as possible and I thought Bush started out shakey then came on strong. W's my man. I trust him.

Well, THAT was certainly an unfortunate choice of words.
Hehe.

OMG, that is great news. Lockhart is such a POS.
To: Battle Hymn of the Republic
There was one major gaffe that only former NYC Mayor Rudi Guiliani picked up on when he talked with FNC's Chris Wallace right after the debate ended: Senator Kerry at the beginning of the debate said that Saddam Hussein was not a threat--and ended the debate saying that Hussein
was a threat.
Believe me, Hussein was a threat, because his terrorist connections mean that the technology to make poison gases and biological agents the Iraqi military got could have been passed to various Islamic terrorist groups. Given how that Japanese religious cult made Sarin nerve gas from a homemade still, the better-funded al-Qaeda terrorists could have set up small chemical plants to make poison gases on a fairly large scale.

Lockhart candidly said to McCurry , The consensus is it was a draw. You don't win a title fight with a draw or even a decision. LOL

I think it was kind of a draw. Here's my take:
Issues: Bush 70% Kerry 30%
Style: Kerry 55% Bush 45%
To: RayChuang88
When the night is over and everyone actually looks at what Kerry said and he said a boatload of idiocy, You will see a change. But the MSM will be full bore for Kerry. That must be fought.
