I knew it. The first thing I said to my spouse was the Kerry's hand looked freshly manicured. Probably got it while he was getting "de-oranged." He definitely had rosy cheeks -- and, obviously, a better make up staff than Gore did for his first debate.

My wife and I watched the new ABC show "Swapping Wives" or "Wife Swappers", whichever it was on Wednesday night. The out-of-touch rich couple reminded us so much of John and Teresa Kerry, so self-absorbed that they couldn't begin to comprehend the realities of everyday working folks. Your statement just reaffirmed that perception for me.
