Kerry doesn't seem to understand that we hold the keys to Nukes program because we made them 1st, and we MUST stay on top.
Kerry wavers with every stiff breeze.

Kerry just cut his own throat with his 2 minute NO NUKES NO NUKES screed. Kerry cut his throat with his I will Kill America's Nuclear Weapon programs announcement.
It reminds me of the election night in 2000 after Gore took his concession back. I couldn't even post on FR for a few days I was so demoralized, so I swore I would never be that way again. It is only one debate and a less than stellar performance isn't going to sway me to gloom and doom. There are 2 more to go and Bush will hit his stride. He is a planiloquent speaker like Truman was and he connects more than kerry with the voters.
Who are these "we's" Kerry is throwing out? Wesley Clark? Madeline Albright? losers in my book. I don't know that he's going to play in Peroria... Everyone knows POTUS tends to get tongue-tied.. I can't really say how well or poor he's doing overall -- because I'm voting for President Bush come hell or high water, I can't even stand to look at Kerry and the idea of 4 (or 8) years of him makes me want to move to New Zealand.
I would just like to say "HI" to all the DUers I am seeing here tonight. Remember me? Lifetime Democrat--treated like crap by Democrats for the last time. You DUmmies were the last straw. Oh and your guy looked VERY unlikable tonight. Get those plane tickets to Canada in-hand--because the republicans are winning this election. And all the dead people in Chicago won't be able to steal it for you this time.

Well...Bush could have done a little worse if he planned to.
I couldn't stand anymore. Kerry is coming across as calm, cool, and collected. Bush is coming across as defensive, stuttering bigtime, and blowing arguements.
Kerry will get a bounce off of this.
I can't stand it.
Whoever prepared Bush needs to be shot. If he was just himself, he would have been fine.

Kerry was critical of Bush for not transferring authority over Iraq to the UN after Baghdad fell.
It was at the end of session, just as the red light went on. Seems to me this is a major gaffe by Kerry.
I will hold him while you slap him.
I think bush won the debate. Not by much, but by enough.
