Well, what I got out of the debate? Bush will make his choices on what is best for the US. Kerry will make his choices on what is best for the UN, sigh.

but not sure they pray.
Who would they pray to?
We pray to the Almighty God, in Jesus name.
We are on the right side.

KTLA talking head democrat says it was a slight win for Kerry but Bush didn't need to win. He's the incumbent and this debate was close enough to not hurt Bush.
I agree with his point about incumbency but I think Bush won.

Me too. Kerry is a loser and Bush is a great leader but this debate ended up making Bush look really weak. Stuttering and repeating himself and losing track of what he was saying NOT making all the good points he could have and should have made. Definitely a bummer.LOL< the message that was drummed home tonight repeatedly and the message that will be continued to be drummed home is that Kerry can not be trusted to lead this country because he believes in nothing.
The debate was boring on both sides. Bush missed a lot of opportunities vis a vis Korea, Seante Intel Committee, Kerrys choice to be unilateral in Korea and multilateral in Iraq, Kerrys failure to suppot the first Gulf War when GHW Bush assembled the mother of all coalitions and whatnot but it won't matter.
Kerry had no answer for his political flip flops and he never will.
But here's a clue. After all is said and done the real news tonight is that Kerry has immeasurably hurt America by making it very difficult to now have forward basing in Iraq in case we have to fight Iran, Syria et al. He then went on to say he would unilaterrally stop the bunker buster program. Kerry went left and he's gonna pay for it in the weeks to come.

Got some emails from viewers of the debate that are not really up on things.
Both --- Kerry was lawyer like, talked in big words but no substance.
One --- Kerry unsure, a little frightening. Always seemed to say I can do hetter. How?
One --- Kerry seemed to be to nasty, no substance when you listened close.
Both --- Bush low key, steady and convincing.
Nothing changed, they go with Bush. Kerry didn't make the sale.

I thought it was Dzherzhinsky Square, where KGB (Moscow Center) is located, named after "Iron Feliks." Good catch, though. My brother-in-law thought I'd be the only one that caught that.
Quick break, CBS News Poll on winner: Kerry 44%, Bush 26%, Tie 30%
Yeah, I remember "Treblinka" was a Nazi concentration camp. BTW, forgot about Dzherzhinsky Square although I do believe the place they tossed the political prisoners was Lubyanka (sp) Prison, either for keeps or on their way to the Gulags.

Most disgusting statement of the night.

The Prez missed the final point. kerry reverted to 1972 claiming the greatest threat to the country is nuclear destruction. The response should have been homeland protection from whatever source. Can't believe something so self-evident sliped away.

Its like a deposition. The testimony freezes the deponent's view. Kerry won the debate but some of the things he said may yet come back to haunt him.

Wow! That was fun and very fastpaced! I just enjoyed reading what everyone had to say--I couldn't get through to make a comment. God bless the president--hope he is even stronger for the next debate.

Kerry made some statements that Bush didn't rebut, like Bush was dishonest in his state of the Union speech about Iraq pursuing yellowcake, which is a lie. He also didn't challenge the point about our troops not having body armor. I thought for sure Bush would jump all over that, since Kerry voted against it.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Sorry for not getting back to you right away. I only saw a few minutes of the debate -- I've been paying bills here.
How did it go? I've seen a lot of mixed reviews here.
