Truthful as in "nuanced" or truthful as in truthful?
I will answer for him. Nuanced if coming from the hanoi john campaign, and truthful when coming from W's campaign.

In one interview he said he'd waited 30 years for the chance to stop Kerry, and no one was going to make him back off. His sincerity was .... impressive.

They didn't start out on that issue, but during the recent DC protest, O'Neill mentioned it three times in 15 minutes; next came commercial #6 "Friends"; and an apparantly recent new chapter to Unfit For Command called "Meeting With The Enemy" which details much about Kerry's meetings with commies both in Paris and here in the U.S. (I got it from Human Events this morning, link under the new ad).
In any case it may be that they're building up to something regarding his obviously treasonous activities. I hope so.
They've ALL been truthful which is why your self-proclaimed "hero" is going to lose big time.
I take it you served beside Kerry with these Swiftboat Vets and know something they don't?
Most of these men are just average Americans who served with Kerry and know that he's a lying fraud, just like Dan Rather and the others who want to elevate this lying pos to President. Kerry rode into Massachusetts politics on the tidal wave of anti-Vietnam war sentiment in this liberal state. Know this, if the Vietnam War had been popular, he'd have ridden on that wave too. He's an utter phony and a liar, like his komrade Bill Klintoon.
I guess if Teresa Heinz Kerry were face-to-face with these women, she would tell them to "shove it!"
Regardless of political beliefs, I do not understand how anyone could support John and Teresa Kerry, such rude, arrogant people.

IMO, a disruptor for sure.
He's clearly a man without a conscience, and proof is no further away than his flip-flopping on Iraq. For years he supported action against Iraq, and now he's uttering the most venal sorts of criticisms against our *real* allies and our very own troops.
The man is a demented and clinically-certifiable narcissist.
He has been quite for a while now, guess he is back over at du bragging about his imagined accomplishments over here in FR.
"Expand on that. What mode is he in?"
His peers say when he takes on a case he becomes his opponents worst nighmare.
He makes a terrier look like a cocker spaniel, is relentless and never quits, utilizes total concentration on the case at hand.
In short, Kerry is in for even a much worse ride as the election nears.
Great Ad, but I wonder what the October surprise is?
