It's one of the President's secret plans revealed by John Kerry.

"Bloggers" and FReepers were referred to in a rather scathing interview on some Lamestream media channel as "a bunch of geeks in pajamas" and amateurs as far as our ability to gather news.

Someone in the Lamestream Media made a derisive comment about "bloggers in pajamas" early on during Rathergate. I'm sure someone will post the details, but that's the core of it. I think it came direct from CBS.

Some old CBS executive was on O'Reilly's show to talk about Rathergate.
He basically said - who are you going to believe layers upon layers of professional journalists or some guy in his pajamas surfing the internet?

Former CBS executive Jonathan Klein complained on Fox News that "these bloggers have no checks and balances. . . . You couldn't have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing."

Jonathan Klein, former executive VP of CBS News, the day that Ra
thergate broke:
"You couldn't have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of check and balances [at '60 Minutes'] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing."
The blogosphere seized on this, and took to describing themselves as the Pajama Brigade, or the Pajamahadeen. Jim Geraghty of NRO's Kerry Spot has been dubbed "Pajama Been Bloggin'", leader of the Pajamahadeen.
