COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry canceled a campaign visit to Columbus on Thursday because of a strained voice, a campaign spokeswoman said Wednesday night."With the debates coming up, he needs to balance his campaign schedule and keep his voice strong," spokeswoman Kathy Roeder said.
[snip]
Kerry also canceled a trip to Iowa on Thursday to rest his voice, and the campaign said vice presidential nominee John Edwards would take his place.
hey guy what is a nancy boy? My name is Nancy!!! and I'm not a boy.
Hehe. Be funny if the Secret Service agent responds "I'm sorry, sir, but Senator Clinton told me I can't do that."

Well said. In fact, if Kerry were just to go to events and not do the speaking he would get the sympathy vote.
Something is up and it is big. You don't take the time off at this point in a campaign. Kids are back to school, vacations are over and voters are finally paying attention.
I have two guesses:
1. Something really negative is about to break.
2. Something physical is to be announced.
A nancy boy is a British term for a boy who likes a boy. Have you ever been to London town?
If he has a severe head cold as his campaign indicated, what in the hell was he doing spreading his germs all over a room full of elderly who are most suceptable to such germs.
I agree. There is something more here than just laryngitis. Kerry is depressed with the way things are going for him. Over the past 8 months he and his supporters have thrown everything except the kitchen sink at GWB and they can't gain ground. Wouldn't that make you sick, too?
Well I guess Hannity was right
He said Kerry looked on the verge of a collapse
lol
So, this is part of that pattern, and he could be sick. In which case I DEMAND to see his medical prognosis and the rest of his medical files!
Or....it could be a big meeting with lawyers who are aware that they have big legal problems.
Holy cow!!! Iowa gets an advance look at what a Kerry/Edwards presidency would look like!!!
It's amateur hour.
What's going on?? K is weak? In poor health? Depressed to the point of collapse????
Great Analysis. I agree with you. In business, the same thing applies. I've managed to close important high $$$ deals with customers when I've had illness, one time I closed on a deal with a bank to service all of their local branches (I am in the waste business) I had laryngitis that day and to top if off, my 3 year old daughter was in the hospital with penumonia caused by the flu. I would have rather been home or at the hospital with her (My wife stayed with her) but If I didn't show, my business would have suffered. Our offer to the bank was accepted and it wasn't because we were the cheapest. I closed that deal without a voice. We impressed them at every step because we were always on top of things and took care of all the fine details. Imagine that. Kerry is a wimp.
Yeah: he's wondering if this interview will drum up a little consulting action for him.
Find the shots from Kerry's NYU speech. His eyes are so sad. Watch him on the rope lines: he is not longer confident. There is almost a diffidence about him, even shaking hands.
Beware the cornered rat.
Is Kerry going to do a Torricelli?
Great line!
I imagine it's hard on the voice to keep using that stilted baritone that seeks to sound booming and authoritative.
