Cool.
Now I realize that within this new alternative media there exists some jealosy,. I sense that some people dont want to give the blogosphere the full credit. They have to parcel it out because every body wants a piece of the action; this is quite normal, this is human nature. The fact of the matter is that it was the blogosphere and it was a couple of sites: Powerline and FreeRepublic. And FreeRepublic has been one of the most impugned blogs / websites in the history of websites by the very institution that has been brought down.
When Dan Rather talked about partisan political operatives, he means those who lurk at FreeRepublic. Who is FreeRepublic, its ordinary Americans liberals look down at ordinary Americans, dont know have enough decision making power, [?] do the right thing, not smart enough
You dont know how much it grates on them at CBS that its something like FreeRepublic or one of their chat rooms or one of the FReepers there or the Powerline you have no idea that it irritates them that that kind of person brought them down. An average, ordinary untrained journalist that you just do not know how this irritates them inside. More than the fact that they got caught, its who caught them that irritates them.
And, so just as I started out I was a fad, and I was a liar, and I made it up and I was bad for America and I posed threats to democracy, as the cover of Time said. So now the same things are being said about the bloggers. Fox news has had its turn and we all continue rotating in the criticism carousel of the left.
From Merriam-Webster Online:
Main Entry: pos·se
Pronunciation: 'pä-sE
Function: noun
Etymology: Medieval Latin posse comitatus, literally, power or authority of the county
1 : a large group often with a common interest
2 : a body of persons summoned by a sheriff to assist in preserving the public peace usually in an emergency
3 : a group of people temporarily organized to make a search (as for a lost child)
Well, of course.
Think about it, we have a full 24 hour cycle here to explore breaking news articles and discuss um before Rush's show comes on for its fabulous three hour information tour.
Of course much of what Rush reports on coincides with what we are ranting about here...and that he always has news bits that we have not uncovered, is a testament to Rush's sources, garnered over the years of his program, and to his research staff and probably Rush, himself, hitting the newswires.
And this is a great site for Rush to come and quickly read conservatie reaction to various stories....perhaps he does gleen from our site exactly what topics are causing the most interest and flurry on any given day...that is a GOOD THING!
I think I read or heard that WKRC also dumped Dan...any Cincinnati area FReepers who can confirm or deny?
Yay!
I see your point, but I think there are a lot of new people who don't know what lurking is and so don't do it...I did, but I can't speak for other new people...Some people are impulsive by nature and like to jump right into things!
Average American here Rush...thanks for the kind words.

Average American Bump!
Thanks for the heads up! His show is tape delayed one hour and I just NOW heard it.I had his show on already, saw you ping and he was talking about the bloggers and I heard him mention FreeRepublic.com twice !
Thank you, Rush !!
Read a thread here today that stated that this dictionary company has added homosexual marriage to its definition of marriage. That really disturbs me, greatly. They claim it has come together via culture---it has not---it is only in our face because of activist homosexuals that make up a tiny number of our population. I am furious. This will be the new weapon of the homosexual lobby.
He may not be there. :) I think he said he was heading out right after the show to do an interview with himself for the October issue of the Limbaugh Letter. He said he always gets really nervous just before he does an interview with himself, because he always gets hit with the toughest questions.
Oh, lighten up. It's a religion of peace, afterall.
Your pic at 141 is hilarious. Love the wall to the left.
Looks like Invisible Man lined up for a firing squad.
Just needs a PC or laptop nearby.
