Washington Whispers: Bush poster child (President to contact 3-year-old Sophia Parlock!)

Bush Poster Child

If the picture of little 3-year-old Sophia Parlock crying after some Kerry-Edwards supporters tore up her Bush-Cheney poster got to you, well, you weren't the only one. President Bush and even first pup Barney were dismayed too, we hear. It happened at a West Virginia rally last week for Democratic running mate Sen. John Edwards, to which Phil Parlock brought his daughter. After seeing the picture of the tearful Sophia on her dad's shoulders, aides said the president was sending her a little note Friday along with a signed campaign poster and an autographed photo of the prez and his dog. "Dear Sophia," Bush penned, "Thank you for supporting my campaign. I understand someone tore up your sign. So I am sending you a new sign and a signed picture. Please give my best to your family. Sincerely, George W. Bush." And on the picture, he inked: "To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney." Phil Parlock tells us it really wasn't necessary. "He already said 'Thank you' when he hugged her" at a previous Bush rally they attended, he says. "She bragged for days."

The union issued a statement that they have dealt with the union worker who tore the sign from the little girl's hands.

He got a raise?

"To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney."

Unlike the animal-rights-whackos who support Kerry, President Bush gives priority to humans!

Local radio talk shows are pushing the idea that it is the HAARP project that is creating these hurricanes - that there are unreported earthquakes BELOW the eyes of the hurricanes that proves they are made by the current administrations military-industrial complex to drive the pure innocent elders adn minorities from the liberal stronghold in florida.

If the Bush administration were creating hurricanes, wouldn't they have sent them to batter Massachusetts instead?

What's required is unswerving and utter acknowleged dependence/reliance/trust.

AMEN! to that! I've been through too much in my life to explain here.

But believe me, He is the only reason (and credit to all of those who prayed for me) that I am still alive.

I like Bush. He's real.
He went out of his way to be with the crew of USS Lincoln to say thank you. The sailors were on deployment for 9 months. Later on, he flew out to Iraq to be with the troops on Thanksgiving Day. He gave up his own holdiay and his safety. You could tell the troops really adore their President. They were swarming around to get a picture with George W.

Kerry can't even show up at the Senate floor to pass bills that support the troops out in the field. He has a private jet and he could make time to support the troops. Didn't bother because it's not important to him. Then Kerry has the Gual to tell the National Guard in Las Vegas how he will make everything better for them if he gets elected.

Actions speak louder than words, Senator Kerry.

Oh really? Well I guess that puts to bed the fevered rumors on DU that the guy who tore up the sign was really one of Parlock's older sons, and that Parlock did it to gain attention for himself.

Or maybe not; they'll probably stick with the lie.

Check out post #33 on this thread. Seems the union came down on the thug who did this, so it couldn't possibly have been Parlock's son.
