Campaign mail with a return address of the Republican National Committee warns West Virginia voters that the Bible will be prohibited and men will marry men if liberals win in November.
The literature shows a Bible with the word "BANNED" across it and a photo of a man, on his knees, placing a ring on the hand of another man with the word "ALLOWED." The mailing tells West Virginians to "vote Republican to protect our families" and defeat the "liberal agenda."
Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie said Friday that he wasn't aware of the mailing, but said it could be the work of the RNC. "It wouldn't surprise me if we were mailing voters on the issue of same-sex marriage," Gillespie said.
The flier says Republicans have passed laws "protecting life," support defining marriage as between a man and a woman and nominate conservative judges who will "interpret the law and not legislate from the bench." It does not mention the names of the presidential candidates.
Jim Jordan, a spokesman for American Coming Together, described the mailing as "standard-issue Republican hate-mongering."
Gillespie said same-sex marriage is a legitimate issue in the election. President Bush has proposed amending the Constitution to ban gay marriage. Democratic Sen. John Kerry also opposes gay marriage but said a constitutional amendment is going too far.

I have it on good authority, and can produce documents backing this (if Blather will air them) thet the Democrats plan to force publically traded printing companies to follow the rules. They intend to enforce this in court if necessary.
Now, the rules are (or will be) that any publically traded company will not be able to put anything pertaining to God or of a religious nature in any printed material. Thus, all references to Jesus and burning bushes and parting waters and Judeao-Christian "commandments" etc will need to be deleted from all future printings of the Bible.
This is clear for anyone that just wants to look at the evidence. I have the evidence right here er, er, I can produce it in no time if anyone needs to see it. Just let me know. I have a Kinkos nearby and will fax it to you at Blather's request.
Unless I see a copy, I don't believe it.
(however I would not doubt that these things could happen with the Libs)
Don't worry. I'm sure the AP will balance this by doing a similar story about Democrats' lies that the Republicans want to shut down social security. And I'm sure they'll go running to a partisan right-wing organization for a comment on the story, just as they ran to the nutty, left-wing ACT for this article.
Right?
Right?
I don't see the problem. It's all basically true.
Take a look at Canadian laws: it's illegal to quote politically incorrect Bible passages. If American leftists are anything like Canadian leftists (and they're always praising Canada as better than the USA), why SHOULDN'T we believe that Democrats are out to ban Bibles?
The left would ban Bibles if they thought they could get away with it.
Deep down, they are fascists.
And they can't argue they are not trying to take the Bible, American Flag, and Pledge of Allegiance out of society as well!
I am truly sorry if I have offended. This was a story of some interest to me and I did not believe anyone would be interested in my humble opinion. But if you care to read my analysis, I would be happy to post it to you. Forgive me if I did something unwittingly wrong.
He neglected to check his beloveds financial's that time.
The pain lingers
...to be replaced by L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology, United National Flag and The Pledge to Mother Earth!
Scientology:
Definition: a controversial belief system developed by L. Ron Hubbard, based on a person being an immortal spiritual being whose survival depends on him/herself and his/her attainment of brotherhood with others and the universe
What they are referring to is that the left will make it politically incorrect to state that homosexuality is a sin, maybe even make it a hate crime. They would be able to come into churches and prosecute as such.
My opinion is that there is a conscience effort on the left to marginalize and silence christians throughout the world. Perhaps not all dems desire that end, but most extreme liberals do. I am a christian before anything else and that is why I believe that it is important to fight the libs on every turn.
My point was merely that liberals can't deny the part about men marrying men. It's not exactly a stealth campaign for gay marriage they're running.
Well, where is there any untruth in this? I think many of us feel that churches are already under attack. If the liberals had their way, the Bible WOULD be banned, and homosexual marriages would be legalized. Why is this considered a "scare tactic"? I consider it fair warning.
Exactly
Is Kerry already having trouble with his Edwards marriage?
California SB1234 makes this goal one step closer.
Better headline: "Mailer tells truth about liberals."
