See the internals.
Less well financed pollsters have to take shortcuts sometimes. If they didn't poll a statistically significant number of voters under age 49, then they'll show that the race is almost tied nationally...because the 50 and over crowd is just about equally divided between Bush and Kerry.
The AWB Has Expired - Gun Owners Have Won Again For All Americans!
It's Gen-X (and Gen Jones & Y)that are putting George Bush over the top!!!!!
Xer Ping
Ping list for the discussion of the politics and social aspects that directly effects Generation Reagan / Generation-X (Those born from 1965-1981) including all the spending previous generations (i.e. The Baby Boomers) are doing that Gen-X and Y will end up paying for.

Thanks for the ping! I hope it holds.
Different polls say different things. This is by no measure over.
We all must continue to try to rationally and persuasively influence "on the fence" voters. It takes time to influence people, but it can be done. It must be done. We need those Supreme Court judges.
don't mention it. glad to help
The President's personal approval rating is 56%. He is cruising in safe territory. John F*ckin' has a favorability rating slightly higher than the Maha Rushie's. (laughing)
I heard it was 49%. I like your number better.
Ohhh the DU is going to be up in arms over this. I should take a peak in there to satisfy my sadistic side. =)
The media's so wrong. After you heard Dan Rather I wouldn't trust a thing they say without having it double-checked and triple-checked first. The days when one could pretty much trust them to tell the truth are long gone.
Bush's approval is at 52% 45% disapprove
Bush is 55% favorable 44% unfavorable
Kerry is 51% favorable 44%
I think for the first time, Kerry is now a more polarizing figure than Bush.
Kerry is rubbing people the wrong way. There's something about him that repels them. People like Bush even when they don't agree with him on everything. Likeability trumps policy every time.
That's very true. I live in Boston, ugh, and I've had to look at his mug and endure his "Do you know who I am?" attitude for 20 years. Thank God for Howie Carr, a local conservative radio host and writer for the Boston Herald. He rips sKerry apart daily. He's been dogging him for years. O'Reilly had him on his show during the DNC to discuss sKerry.
Seabiscuit owners prays for rain
You know Donna Brazile's reference to "Seabiscuit" reminded me where I heard it before. In Tom McCllntock's losing bid to be California Governor last year. Its uncanny how a literary trope gets resurrected again to describe another long-shot's bid.
You know where is really tightening, around Viacom's neck.
Kerry is the dumbest campaigners is presidential history.
His ad hominem attacks on Pres. Bush has cost him plenty.
I agree with you. We should not lay back and assume this race is won for GW Bush. We must fight for every vote and get everyone of our troops to the polls on November 2nd. It is not John Kerry that needs to be defeated on election day, but hte entire "Traitor" Democrat Party!!!
