So, there's a nest of DemRATS in Texas that includes the daughter of Dan Rather. And the producer of his show (Mapes?) just happens to be (from what I have been able to pick up) the same person to whom Hackworth gave the Abu Graihb prison photo's...which I always believed and still believe to this day, were STAGED (although humiliated, the victims were NOT tortured) and Burkett, as an 'expert' (?) worked for Michael Moore's production company; which reminds me that Moore's film at its first showing (before Cannes) featured prison abuse photographs before they were released to the media...by whom? Mapes? And why is it important now that Moore interviewed Nick Berg BEFORE Nick went to Iraq...but his father, to whom Michael Moore said he gave the video of the interview won't release it; WHY? And ain't it funny that Farenheit9/11 is a FRAUD all the way through just as the Memo's are FORGERIES...It's all becoming quite clear to this Aussie. There is a common thread, I'm NOT crazy. The DemoCRATS as a political party are DANGEROUS!

I think there are two Burkett's in the news now. One who wrote the book and this guy in Texas, the ex-NG member.

I am sending e mails of support every couple of days. I think they know why this is happening and I don't think they will stop because of it either. I think they made this decision a long time ago but still it helps to support them every chance we get.

Killian's son was on Hannity today and he said that he has asked other Guardsman in Texas about this guy, and he says this guy was working on the Bush election campaign in the 1990's and Karen Hughes kicked him off of it. Ever since then, he's been after Bush and Hughes, and everyone else from the Governor days. First time I heard that, but it explains a lot.

He co-wrote Stolen Valor with Glenna Whitley. I find it interesting that the subtitle to my ex-copy of the book (it's soon going to decorate the inside of File 13 along with some cat litter) is "How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of Its Heroes and Its History."
Mr. Burkett, YOU are attempting to rob my President of his honor and reputation and standing with the American people with this little escapade. You are also trying to place a permanent stain on the history of this basically good man, thereby ROBBING him of HIS history.

May be wrong, but IMHO
This weird position Rather and CBS now find themselves in can no longer be rationalized from the simple contention they still believe in the validity of the documents, it has gone far beyond that. With CBS, it is we are right, and the entire known world is wrong.
At this point, to admit memos are forgeries, they have, and I mean have, to expose their source. Once the source is outed, criminal legal problems will quickly take a giagantic quantum leap forward.
The source then turns onto CBS & Rather and rats them out, they will be shown complicit in a criminal conspiracy, witness tampering, etc., etc. CBS now finds themselves in an untenable position with no good options as to avenues of escape. This cannot have a good end for CBS and Rather, no matter what action they now choose, it will be disastrous.
The civil trials will make CBS's bottom line drop like a rock. Killian's son and his widow are going to be very wealthy people at some future date, and that is only one settlement,
Michael Moore's next movie is going to be called TANG 111.
