Just announced on the Chris Baker talk show:
Ken Charles, the Station Manager for 950KPRC in Houston (the largest talk station in Houston) just sent the CBS News VP all his nasty e-mails and told them that CBS will either fire Dan Rather by Monday and come completely clean on the matter or he will take CBS News off the air of his radio stations (he manages two of the largest in Houston).
He took Dan Rather's 4pm top of the hour brodcast off effective immediately and replaced it with Fox news.
He said he will find a way to cancel the CBS contract if they do not resolve this in a manner that retains their credibility as a news source.

I'm sure that there are not that many listeners anyway. His station ratings will go up with Fox.
Come to think of it, it's probably all a conspiracy cooked up by "the Dan" and C-BS to boost their abysmal ratings.

Yep, many have long complained to KPRC about the CBS news at the top of the hour. Ken Charles needs to be overwhelmed with congratulatory emails for his leadership.

This is to inform you that unless and until CBS News takes responsibility for the forged memos with which it tried to smear President Bush, or alternately until 10/11 drops its affiliation with CBS, I will no longer be watching your channel. I have already removed your station from the list of channels to which my TV tunes automatically. The integrity of the information my family receives is extremely important to me.
A friend is preparing a list of advertisers on 10/11 News, and I will be contact these advertisers with a similar message.
I hope your station finds a worthier network with which to affiliate.

Da Blabber is an idiot. I wish we could take away his native Texan status. CBS is now trying to explain that the memos were fake, but the message was real. What a bunch of left-wing conspiritory idiots. Not that I ever did before, but I will remember this forever as far as CBS is concerned.
