The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Muslim group takes responsibility for 9-11: 'We are so sorry'

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and "intellectuals" blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11. Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and "steal" Iraqi oil.

A soil-borne bacterium, causing melioidosis, has killed 24 of the 79
people infected here [Singapore] so far in 2004, a 3-fold rise in the
death rate for the disease.

The overall death rate has jumped from 10 percent of those infected
in 2003 -- 4 deaths out of the 40 -- to about 30 percent this year
[2004], MOH statistics show. The high death rate has led the Ministry
of Health (MOH) to investigate whether the disease was being caused
intentionally, since the bacterium (_Burkholderia pseudomallei_) is a
known agent for potential biological warfare. Fortunately, it was not
caused intentionally: different patients were seen to have different
strains of the bacterium, said Professor K. Satkunanantham, director
of medical services in the ministry.

This report by Ben Johnson documents the tax-exempt giving by Teresa Heinz Kerry to political groups, which are shaping the American future.

Without question, she is a major player in the culture wars between left and right,

and in the shadow universe that shapes the political future.

Perhaps the most striking aspect of Ben Johnson’s report what it reveals about the scope of Mrs. Kerry’s political investments and the range of left-wing agendas she supports.

Directly or indirectly, Teresa Heinz Kerry has sponsored a political spectrum that includes violent anarchists, anti-free market socialists,

anti-Homeland Security activists, racial dividers, open borders agitators, pro-terrorist radicals....

Over the last decade, Teresa Heinz Kerry has steered $8.1 million to the Tides group,

which is a nerve center of the left and which has funneled the monies to numerous radical groups.

When the stories about Mrs. Kerry’s connection to Tides appeared, all identified parties protested their innocence,


and a politically sympathetic media conveniently dismissed the connections.

But, the facts themselves will not go away.

Tides has also given grant money to the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Ostensibly a “Muslim civil rights group,” CAIR is in fact one of the leading anti-anti-terrorism organizations in the United States.

CAIR regularly opposes American efforts to fight terrorists,

claiming Homeland Security measures are responsible for an undocumented surge in “hate crimes.”

CAIR officials have reason to fight Bush’s War on Terror measures, since many CAIR officials are on the record supporting terrorist organizations.

I'm not convinced the FBI plan will work either. I personally think the southern border is a transit route for bad guys bent on forming up later and creating havoc.

I wonder if terrorists in country might sieze upon the aftermath of the re-election of Bush. After the election, stage some attacks as such that they appear to be Anti-Bush supporters, sort of get the DU'ers riled up and get the ball moving. A classic destabilization campaign. You know start rioting in the big cities Chicago, LA, Detroit, etc. I bet potentially only takes a spark to get it going.

Bandit has made the shift into being an "indoor" boy rather nicely. He takes his meds like a real good boy and is just as loving as can be. Amber is the rebel. She still sneaks outside in the darkness (being all black and still real fast helps the Great Escapee) and gets ornery in taking her meds. Still all in all, things are fine.
