Brit Hume announced story coming up now on National Guard docmunents
Zing!
Even the Wash Post is now questioning the authenticity. The power of the new media is really beginning to be felt. And yes, it is fabulous.
I don't really believe Yost. His claim to be seeking Kerry docs may not be as true as it looks. See #825.
If they produce the "originals", how will they explain the inclusion of signatures on the copies?
My friends, this is poetic justice of the cosmic kind.
Curley may not have been interested. Obviously, Moe and Larry had a different opinion.
If the poster was talking about FNC in this quote,
" I just went to their website. NOTHING about any possibility of the CBS documents being forged. They are a lot more careful about what they put in writing as opposed to the "opinions" they spew on their show."
OOPS
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,131954,00.html
Independent document examiner Sandra Ramsey Lines (search) said the memos looked like they had been produced on a computer using Microsoft Word software, which wasn't available when the documents were supposedly written in 1972 and 1973.
Lines, a document expert and fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (search), pointed to a superscript a smaller, raised "th" in "111th Fighter Interceptor Squadron" as evidence indicating forgery.
Microsoft Word automatically inserts superscripts in the same style as the two on the memos obtained by CBS, she said.
"I'm virtually certain these were computer-generated," Lines said after reviewing copies of the documents at her office in Paradise Valley, Ariz. She produced a nearly identical document using her computer's Microsoft Word software.
The White House distributed the four memos after obtaining them from CBS News. The White House did not question their accuracy..."
Alger Communist Hiss *IS* the DemonRAT(ic) Party poster boy...
Sheesh, McCarthy was right...
"I doubt there are more fraudulent documents. Kerry's people are creepy and dumb, but they aren't the low-powered morons who passed this funky stuff off on CBS."
I respectfully disagree.
There are probably a lot more fraudulent documents, they will just be afraid to use them now. They still haven't caught on to the new media.
Kerry was blindsided by the swift vets because he expected the liberal media to cover his miserable butt.
He delayed responding in any effective means because he expected the swift vets to be buried.
Kerry is a very experienced liar as are most of the people working for him. He forged an entire anti-war movement based on phony war atrocities. He forged congressional testimony. He forged his medals.
It is perfectly conceivable that Kerry is the author of this whole mess.
It's more than just spacing one back for every two letters.
In a proportional font, apparently it takes an advanced degree to calculate how much to track backwards in order to center the words.
From ABC:
The White House is declining to comment on the veracity of the documents. Many Democrats are worried that if they are found to be forgeries, it will be a setback for Sen. John Kerry's campaign to defeat Bush in November
No kidding? BAAAAWWWWHAHAHAHA
Pray for W and Our Troops
Just remember boys & girls - fact checkers are only required for stories about democrats. Vetted schmetted - we don't need to truth! The dinosaurs are dying, dying, the alphabet dinosaurs are dying.
BTTT
I love the way the Post leads this: "Some" question the documents.
As opposed to, I don't know, EVERY single documents expert who is willing to be named in EVERY news story by EVERY other news outlet in the country?
Oh, those "some."
Nixon's Revenge!
"According to the Kerry for President campaign, News Corp. President and chief operating officer Peter Chernin has endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate. News Corp. owns Fox News Channel."
"That would put Chernin in the ranks of some other Kerry-supporting media executives, including Barry Diller, Kirk Kerkorian (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.) and Harvey and Robert Weinstein, who backed the release of Michael Moore's controversial anti-Bush documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11.
____________
"News Corp. owns Fox News Channel." . . and Bill O'Reilly, and Hannity and Colmes. Is it any wonder direct posting from FoxNews is on the "No-No" list?

That 'splains this . .
There were many many IBM models. AirForce had few, and generally only the cheapest, except for the General's Secretary.
