why didn't CBSs expert find it this. It should have been glaring. Why were not these docs properly cleared. Why the rush to air?

Who is going to make a big deal about this EXCEPT for Fox? Think about it. The dems don't care, and they will just ignor everybody if these docs are forgeries.

I say remain cautious of this developement...you never know what the dems have up there sleeves.

Yea .. Harkin was going off about these memos

OFF TOPIC
Local Radio guy (Dom G.) just interviewed a reporter that was at Bush's rally today where the act up crowd were

Well seems these people volunteered at the local Republican Headquarters and even volunteered to do the phones to make them look like supporters of Bush

No mention of fake docs by Chrissie. Has James Warner, former NV POW on now.

I don't recall any such tests (drugs and alcohol) in the early 70s...Army or otherwise.

If they are indeed forgeries, seems to me, they already have at least 3 suspects, including their so called expert, who cannot be an expert at all, if it's determined they're forgeries.

With the evidence at hand, this seems to be the case.

Before tomorrow morning, Democrats will get talking points blaming this forgery and deception all on the Bush campaign. Dirty tricks, they will say, played to discredit the MSM and to innoculate Bush against all future criticism of his NG stint. Democrats never answer charges, they just deflect blame to someone else.

Well when it comes right down to it, if the Repubs were that clever, I'd want them even more to be in charge of the war against Islamofascists for 4 more years.

BushGuardaugust1 memo - a FAKE

Here is the scoop!:

Proof the CBS document BushGuardaugust1.pdf is a FAKE:

Original text, slightly adjusted for rectangular fit:

Same text, screen capture of document written in MS Word 2002 with no effort to match original aside from document width:

Overlapping images, with original as B/W negative:

Aside from slight warping presumably due to distortion introduced by a low-quality photocopier, the two texts line up exactly. The "30+ year old proof" against Bush is a fraud.

Just in time for halloween!

Actually, the superscript in the word documents is alligned vertially significantly different than in the CBS documents.

Does anyone know what this would imply?

I'm as sure as I can be, relying on people on this forum that I trust.

The documents were released by CBS; and no, the WH hasn't commented on these memos.

"Believe me, the military wouldn't have gotten its hands on "1970s typewriters" until about 1990."

I was in the National Guard in the late 70's and I can assure you the equipment they were using was hand me downs from the Regular Military. We were using 1950 type equipment in 1979. The Air National Guard in 1973 would be lucky to have a type writer manufactured later than 1965!
