That's the first thing I thought of too.... the only handwriting on the "documents" is the signature, which looks like it's been cut and pasted (physically) on to the documents...

Not to beat our own drum, but you can post ANY question here and get it answered by people with expert knowledge in less than 30 minutes. So true. I asked a pretty obscure question about French political history (when was the Fourth Republic?) last week and got three correct responses within ten minutes. LOL

Well, Byron York though cold water on this.On the contrary, he said that the expert couldn't explain the superscript, and that other experts think this is a forgery.

Mr. Hannity mentioned this on his show as well, and gave high praise to FReepers for ripping this apart. :) Let's see. Drudge, Hannity and now Brit and Fox news. All we gotta do now is get ABC, NBC, MSBS and the Commie News Network to admit it... oh, and of course, CBS to give us the true source of the forgery. (I think forgery is a crime, isn't it, in this case, it might be considered to benefit the person who did it in changing an election!)

I've been mesmerized by the throbbing superscripted CYA memo all day long. Please make it stop throbbing.
Thanks.

By the way, Brit Hume mentioned on Special Report that one of their editors had typed out one of the CBS memos on his computer using a word processor (prob. Word), typing it word for word, and the LINE BREAKS AND LETTER SPACING WERE IDENTICAL TO THE SUPPOSEDLY 1971 MEMO DONE ON A TYPEWRITER.
Well, fancy that. What a coinkidink. Brit Hume in his very understated way just left the listener to draw their own conclusions. And I'm sure several million just did.

WHO WAS THE VERY FIRST FREEPER WHO NOTED THISThat's a good question. Wish it was me, but no such luck. Whoever it was deserves the medals that Kerry threw away - with oak leaf cluster.

No cold water. He seemed objective and not danciing around like us and probably the staff at Fox. The superscript was stressed. This will dribble out over a week and have maximum effect after Ivan blows through. I love it,,I haven't enjoyed anything in such a long time!
