I posted the thread here....with the promise of an update! Well here it is!
Guys I am so excited because last night we had over 300 people show up for our first college republicans meeting here at OSU. (Oklahoma State)
Dr. Tom Coburn..candidate for US Senate came and spoke. I will have more pictures to add to this thread soon..that I took. But for now..notice the Republican flag behind Dr. Coburn?
That came from my room! We used it to decorate! Dr. Coburn is quite blunt. He reminds me a lot of Zell Miller.
He answered every question asked. And informed us on things like crop insurance, term limits, the war on terror, health insurance, judges, immigration.
When asked about the judicial nominees crisis he responded. I'll make sure that NOTHING gets done until those nominees are either given an up or down vote. It will be locked up.
He also informed us of what Ted Kennedy, Ted Turner, and Scotty Pippen have in common? They all own bad crops. They buy crops they know won't grow, and then cash in on the insurance.

COBURN FOR SENATE!!!!!!
I just made the design. A West Virginia disabled vet FReeper offered to make them on his sticker cutting machine. He has worked his butt off and wants nothing more than to get the word out on Kerry. He refuses compensation and all the proceeds go to swiftvets.com to they can buy more airtime.
Thanks for your pictures. What a charming group of young people! There may be hope for the USA yet.
We'll watch it here. Bring 'em all! (We even have a portacrib...!)
Excellent job FRiend. When I saw W in Albuquerque last month I was particularly impressed by the number of young people (in and around voting age) that were there. Nothing at all like the grimy rent-a-mob types seen at various liberal gatherings and enclaves.
Nice pics... I am optomistic about the future of America.
Thanks!!!!
Couldn't have this thread without pinging my friend jmstein7!!!
Student groups can use FR very effectively for communication and as a news forum (as long as they keep their postings rated "PG").
1) The group can set up a user ID, and each member can establish his own FReeper ID.
2) The group can establish a key word that identifies an article that may be of interest to the group.
3) The keepers of the group user ID can ping group members to articles of interest, articles brought to their attention through the keyword, or to announcements posted in "general interest".
4) Photos can be uploaded to photobucket.com and linked through to either their event threads or the group user ID page.
5) Of course, they run the risk of losing their privileges if they are rude, crude or totally liberal.
Just a thought.
Thanks for the heads up!
We do have a great server though. For internet use. And can upload anything to it.
bttt!!!!
Hey, thanks! How nice of you to invite us, unsolicited, like that :-). It occurs to me that we can't bring deer, because the election is before Missouri deer season, but we'll come up with something!
What a great turnout and a great looking crowd. This fills me with hope for the future of our country.
and to boot, you guys beat the tar out of UCLA yesterday!
Great! What a super-looking bunch of students! Coburn rocks!
You guys might enjoy this thread!!!
I am pinging you to it!
Is Danielle single?
I'm not sure, lol.
She has a twin sister though.
