Just announced on Fox News. About 300 pro-life demonstrators from the Catholic Steubenville University are protesting his appearance in the town, there, by showing up at his rally. Are there any local folks who can add anything more?
Frances Rules!
Franciscan U BUMP!
Kudos for the Steubenvillians!
LOL...that makes two of us......at least we'll have fun in heaven looking down at the waves........thanks for the laugh.
If memory serves, Mother Angelica grew up in Canton -- all the more reason (besides her good works and efficacious prayers) not to mess with her.
That is wonderful!!!
I only wonder why there are not 30,000 pro-life Christians at EVERY Kerry rally.

"Well, it's the Franciscan University of Steubenville."
Ouch.
Used to know some people who had gone to school there.
Back before the invention of the internet ;-)
The march was organized by students who were joined by a some members of the local community. We were having lunch downtown and tagged along with them. They arrived around noon. No signs were allowed inside, so they lined up on Adams Street just outside Ft. Steuben. It really wasn't intended to be a protest, just a reminder that if you want to be Catholic, you have to be prolife.
Ping!
Gotta love those Steubenville students!!!
A supporter for U.S. Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry (L) and a protestor attend a rally for Kerry in Steubenville, Ohio, September 4, 2004. It is Kerry's last stop on his two-day bus tour of the critical battleground state of Ohio, heading into the November 2 election
I would have loved to have seen this happen in Tacoma last week
They were allowed in, but not allowed to raise the placards above their waists and no heckling. They were undoubtedly put in a dark corner behind a screen.
Frightening looking woman! Good thing she didn't meet up with ME! Her little sign would have been ripped in shreds. Nobody sticks a sign in my face like that!
Stuebenville is only 20 minutes from The Catholic Familyland.

It is in Bloomingdale, Ohio.
It is a great camp site for true-Catholic families.

Heard about this on the news. They said it was NOT a Republican protest. They said there were pro life democrats in the group, too.
This is great!!!!!!!!!!
