WAY TO GO JENNA AND BARBERA!
Thank you!!!! That's the reaction I am hearing from the college kids I know including my own. Bunch of stuffed shirts running around these threads!
We do, but STILL.
I agree. I would be proud to have them for daughters.
The SatC line made me flinch a bit. But they finished smooth. And I'm betting they didn't say anything that they hadn't said to Poppy and Gammie in private already. :)
I'll cut them some slack, but I kept on waiting for them to say, "And the nominees for the best pop video are...."
Im a younger freeper here (25) and I know about 150 19-25 year olds who watched tonight. :-)
The twins acted perfectly age appropriate. If they were 30 then their behavior wouldve seemed a little churlish.
Yes. But they would also have to be on a program that the pinheads were actually watching.
KIDS DO SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS.
But other than a few jokes on morning news/talk shows Wednesday, this will be forgotton. I'm listening to a liberal talk show right now on the radio (just for fun) and they are not even talking about the twins speech. They are talking about the Arnold and Laura speech and the Bush comment about not being able to win the war, still making an issue of it after Bush clrified himself.
All in all, the Bush twins are to damn cute to get angry with. Who has not wanted to crawl under a rock at one time or another because of someting your child has said.
Watched with my 20 and 18 year old daughters.Thought I bet they can be a handfull-like ours can-without really being problems as some that age can be.I thought they were great. Then again,we raised a couple I think have similar values.
My daughter and her friend, both 24, watched with me tonight; they both thought Jenna and Barbara were very good tonight. I needed a crash course in the references they made.
Said they were dressed great, and loved the intro to Laura. They loved Laura too. The youth are speaking. LOL
Great programming
Dims eat your heart out
Oh, come on! they are teenager's are they not? That's who they'll appeal to. Believe me, I feel for any parent who has one. I've got one of my own (a teenager). Besides the hamster line made up for a multitude of sins.
They were in my house.
I saw quite a few in their age group, and younger, on the convention floor.
This is why they delighted CNN, MSNBC. The Bush twins are still wet behind the ears and showed it. Nothing wrong with that, but and why we groan a little when we have to sit through other people's home movies. Lovely young women, I'd be proud to claim them as family or friends, but in these perilous times we don't have time right now to indulge in home movies. Watching Greta tonight...She looks absolutely terrific, by the way!
They sort of made Chelsea Clinton look like the dog she is.
Hey, I got on this thread because of the title and the first thing I see is you, dissing a couple of cute and sweet girls.
I hope the next time they speak that they will act a little moroe grown up. For just being out of college -- they were barely on the scale.
Did they consider the national audience?
I didn't like the sex joke -- sort of a slam against all married couples.
