I was only casually watching the show while trying to do something else, but when Gabler's blood pressure went off the scale I became absorbed in it.
I had always heard about liberals totally losing their cool when things aren't going their way but had never seen such a good example until then.
Let's face it, you have to have a few "toys in your attic" to be a good liberal anyway.

Thanks for the report on Fox News. It's shows are starting to resemble the garbage I quit watching years ago. "We Decide What to Report So You Can Decide" is loosing it's grip on viewers who are seeking truth. Putting on a turkey like Gobbler (my apologies to turkeys) is not motivating me to continue to watch.
Thanks to information flowing from freedom loving FReepers, the most informed citizens in the history of civilization, we have become much faster than 24/7/365 news coverage. We are 60/60/24/7/365 news coverage...coverage every second of every minute.
Thanks for your work covering the propagandists and dinasours governsleastgovernsbest.
Thanks to all posters for all of their work!

I have to agree.
The Dems stick together, come hell or high water. They go the mat for each other. At least, one has to admire their backbone.
The amazing thing to me is: Every time a major Dem gets in trouble/hand caught in the cookie jar, Republicans end up resigning. I still haven't figured out that one. I also haven't figured out why Republicans tend to eat their own when one of their own gets in trouble. It is difficult to name Republicans in Washington who have backbone. It is easy to name many Dems who do.
[By backbone, I don't mean that their stand is right; but I mean they 'take a stand' and fight for it--right or wrong.]

ROFLMAO, Hey did anybody catch Susan Estrich having a little fit herself on Tony Snow's show. She kept looking into the camera "it's a lie (Swifties charges) L-I-E , lying " What a hag.

Never have I seen the libs in such blind panic and fury. They know that Kerry's lies about his record have come home to roost and will ultimately cost him the election. It was glorious! Here's hoping there is some "roosting". Hall and Gabler's sick panic was very indicative of Kerry trouble, but I am not at all convinced that BIG/Liberal/Commie/Democrat/Media will not win in the end! The average American voter is not too "swift", if you get my drift!

Conservatives have no cojones. We saw that during the clintoon era. He literally got away with murder while we stood by and watched. It's not that we conservatives don't have cojones. It's that those of us that do are fully aware many of our compatriots will joyously offer us up to the libs as sacrificial lambs, rather than support us in time of need, just to show the cosmos they really ARE fair-minded.
At least libs don't eat their own.

I get the impression that Al sticks to his hard liberal line as a way of staying in Judy's good graces. That's part of it. I think he's p*ssy whipped.
But Al likes to be on the A lists, and the only way he stays there is to toe the liberal line.

I've been cable-free the last couple of days (not worth it to set up the satellite dish for just one night at a time), relying on the internet and FR for news. It's really sort of nice.....
Cable awaiting for the RNC convention though. Hahaa!

He screamed and cut Cal off, determined that there would be no more discussion of the issue. Dear Neal:
Welcome to Conservative hell. I remember in late October 2000 when some goofy guy from Maine revealed a 30 year old drunk driving charge against Bush. I hadn't one damn thing to do with the election but the press was all over it sliming W until election night. It nearly tilted things to Gore and probably cost Bush the popular vote.
Some simple advice for all liberals: Grow up.

This is becoming the norm for those who support that despicable, self aggrandizing, lying, backstabbing, seditious traitor - Hanoi John (AKA AnyBodyButBush). I have yet to hear or read an intelligent rational discussion involving these people. They appear to survive on raw emotion and never let facts get in their way.
What is with them? Do we have a nation wide valium or Prozac shortage? Look at the demonstrators gathering in New Your City.
5,000 bicyclists trying to snarl traffic. Who in their right mind would challenge an irate NY cab driver with a bicycle?
From CNN: Cyclists said the bike ride was peaceful and the police acted unreasonably.
The cyclists caused "massive disruptions including of people trying to get to the hospital
So what if it might have caused the death of innocents - its not like they were enemy soldiers, they would only be ordinary New Yorkers.
News clips last night also showed a group of protesters that apparently were nude. Other protester expected are groups of anarchists who advocate violence. This almost gives the impression that nearly half the population of the US are certifiable nut cases - and they all support AnyBodyButBush!

I've told Mr. Peach not to make any plans for us Monday-Thursday. Aside from the gym and grocery shopping (which I'll probably try to weasel hubby into doing!), I am home watching the week's events. Stay safe!

Instead of denouncing these vets who have a right to air their opinion why not tell JFK, too, to report for duty, burnish his medals, brandish his reports, and have a fresh debate with John ONeill, 33 years after he lost the first time around?Could you see that? WOW!!!
That would be better than the Cheney/Edwards Smackdown and the Zell Miller speech put together.

I would like a landslide victory for Bush as much as anybody on FR
But let's be realistic
Donk's fraud will be systematic and on a scale that we have never seen before and the MSM will ignore it
VOTE, GET AL YOUR FRIEND AN RELATIVE TO VOTE
The only way we can beat the D is by a really effective grass root campaign

"when Gabler's blood pressure went off the scale I became absorbed in it."
You just gave me a great idea for a panel news discussion. Each member gets wired up to a polygraph and we watch their readings as they rant. Would be hillarious.
They'd never go for it, but the image is beautiful.
