Your welcome Dutchess!
Thankyou both for a job well done!!!!
Ah, my dear JuanHernando2 - -
We are in danger of becoming truly unkind here, mocking this brave man who braved terrible paper cuts while (re)writing (his own) history!
Surely a man is entitled to that pesky Amendment - the Freedom to Prevaricate?
The latter was pioneered by such admirable c artists um, experts, as WJC and HRC, among other notable figures...
I strongly suspect Kerry is so intent upon speeding up stem cell research research for Alzheimer's Disease because he fears his own meltdown - - wants a cure before the seared memories turn to justa heap of ashes... (even though it is not thought to be a valid approach to a cure for it.)
Whatta week, President Bush appearing at the VFW gathering as an impressive Commander-in-Chief.
By contrast, Kerry confidently strode to their podium, and because of the strong hall lights promptly had a flashback to 'that time' in Cambodia when the Viet Cong and Khmer Rouge and Howdy Doody all fired upon him at once - - sad, man - sad...
It musta been a shock to come back around and see those vets with their backs turned to him, and so many others with folded arms and intense glares - not tracers from combat fire - just plain old loathing.
Never underestimate the judgment of Real Persons, eh?
So much for this week's 'As the River Churns' - -
- -
I look forward to next week's episode!
Love n hugs,

In honor of J. Effin's secret missions to Cambodia, I submit:
John Kerrys Cambodian Christmas
(To be sung to the tune of White Christmas
with the most sincere apologies to Irving Berlin)
Verse:
The war is raging
I'm on my boat
Ferrying CIA.
There's never been such a day
Here or on Cam Ranh Bay.
But it's December the 24th
We're fighting gooks from Vietnam north ...
Chorus:
I'm dreaming of a Cambodian Christmas
Although there'll be no snow or ice.
On a secret mission
With bullets whizzing
Ouch! My butt's shot full of rice.
I'm dreaming of a Cambodian Christmas
With every Charlie that I shoot.
Nixon's war is stealing my youth
Hope the girl I marry has some loot.
I'm dreaming of a Cambodian Christmas
Just like the one I never knew.
Wonder why my shipmates
Express such deep hate
For me, I really have no clue.
I'm dreaming of a Cambodian Christmas
I hope my gift's a Purple Heart.
War crimes in which I played a part
Will give my political career a start.
LOL!
"John Kerry in the Twilight Zone."
I'm overtired and have not had a terribly terrific day - so I will just say - it doesn't seem possible for this man to tell the truth. If he could, he wouldn't keep changing his story.
Do you suppose Rod Serling could ever have imagined John Kerry and have written an episode with him the central character??!!
...|:>))
Funny you should include the Prevaricators-in-Chief with your comments. All three of them will likely celebrate Christmas with the hanging of condoms and military medals on the boughs of the ol' evergreen.
Always nice to carry on family traditions year after year. Such wonderful family heirlooms to pass on.
If he did, it was a script he never finished.
And I'm sure he would have thought of it!
A new Lexus
A woman bought a new Lexus LS430, and returned the next day, complaining that she couldn't figure out how the radio worked. The Salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.
Watch this!" he said........"Nelson!"
The radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?"
"Willie!" he continued....and "On The Road Again" came from the speakers.
The woman drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time she'd say,"Beethoven", she'd get beautiful classical music, and if she said,"Beatles!" she'd get one of their awesome songs.
One day, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed her new car, but she swerved in time to avoid them.
"ASSHOLES!" she yelled.......
The French National Anthem began to play, sung by the Dixie Chicks, accompanied by Jane Fonda, Michael Moore and John Kerry.
Life is uncertain; eat dessert FIRST!
LOL! Absolutely!
Is that your granddaughter? (we have the cutest grandkids on this thread). :)
Thank you for the bright spot in my day, TC...need prayers not only for my Steve (if you've seen the two reports on his participation with DMAT and Charley in Punta Gorda), but tonight heard from my sister, Anne, the breast lump they biopsied the other day *is* cancerous...
Thankfully, we know Who is in charge of All Things....
Offering my prayers
Yep... Reminds me of the words in Bill and Gloria Gaither's song Because He Lives....and life is worth the living, just because He lives.
TC a truly wonderful picture.
Reminds me of words my dad spoke one time...
"Ya know, these ol' arthritic knees never hurt when I'm kneeling before our Lord in prayer."
I LOVE that picture, my friend! Thank you for posting it! And I LOVE our dear President! Our Great God has certainly blessed us, Praise His Name!
