Nostradamus: Giant comet to collide with planet Earth on August 19th - 08/16/2004 18:47

The prophet predicted Greece would find itself in the epicenter of the impact

Leading newspapers, governmental institutions, public and scientific organizations started receiving anonymous emails this week with ?To all people of the Earth¦ in the subject line. The emails warn of a catastrophe which is supposedly to take place on August 13th or 14th 2004 at the Olympic Games opening. The anonymous writer refers to Nostradamus's 10th Century, Quatrain 74. The prophet predicted: ?The year of the great seventh number accomplished, It will appear at the time of the games of slaughter: Not far from the great millennial age, When the buried will go out from their tombs.¦

The terrifying prophecy is about the year 2004, the opening of the Olympic Games in Greece. There is yet another interpretation. American researcher of Nostradamus's legacy R.W. Welch wrote a book titled ?Comet of Nostradamus. August 2004 v Impact!¦ Welch analyzed 18 quatrains of the prophet and came to conclusion a giant comet will collide with planet Earth. It will explode in Greece after scorching the south of Europe. According to Welch's research, the impact will take place on August 19th, 2004.

"Don't forget to zig-zag, and ducking wouldn't be a bad idea either."

Could this be, the recently discovered 'Osama Comet', that we have been hearing about?

Our fair city is being overrun by the Godless comets! Here are some numbers to call, which will help us keep track of any enemy comet movements...

We need something with extreme mass to be shot into space to counter the meteor. Any ideas?

Fox will still be reporting about Kobe and the Peterson murder trial after the comet hits.... assuming they have electrical power and all.

Why didn't Nostradamus predict that I would win the pick 6 at Del Mar yesterday?

Actually, if the comet or asteroid was coming from the direction of the sun, we probably wouldn't see it. In order for it have escaped our notice on its approach it would have to be a fast moving extra solar object that swept in from the other side of the sun from us, slipped past the sun on a close fly by, and would be speeding toward us with an extremely high velocity. It wouldn't even have to be that big at those speeds to do a whole lot of damage... Big being a relative word, of course. Except if it was of fair mass, moving at relativistic velocities... It would have a strong gravitational pull... So, we'll probably feel its effects on Earth before it arrives... earthquakes, storms, floods.

Interesting, never thought of it that way before.
