Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned. |

Wonder who did not wash his hands
Or what food was contaminated.. Have been noticing as of late lots of restaurants and grocery store bathrooms have either no soap in the dispensers or no way to dry your hands after washing them. Carrying germicide is a necessity. We keep ours in our vehicles and use it each time we return to the car from public places where we have touched anything at all. Paranoid? I don't think so - there's no shortage of people with no personal cleanliness and no shortage of people who want us incapacitated running around the country.
Leprosy and TB Fast Growing in the USA
The above article says that there are now 7,000 cases of Leprosy and possibly more and US citizens never out of the country have contracted it. More reason than ever to keep your hands clean!
This is totally awful and so under-reported.

Well I don't know anything about national radio markets. It is entirely possible that if I went to an ad exec and told them to buy ads within my budget that would reach the most listeners, he or she would pick these markets. I just don't know.
A little over half cover swing states. But covering 40% of the states means you are going to cover a good chunk of the swing states anyway.
It may be a cost/benefit analysis (price per listener) would account for why Birmingham, Oklahoma City, and Portland, Maine are on the list.
But I'm still not so sure about the timing.
Appreciate your real concern and prayers for my granddaughter. She is the kindest and sweetest girl I've ever known and is bravely facing her upcoming surgery. Wild horses couldn't keep me from her side. You, of all people, certainly know it's a grandma thing!
I'll be lurking and doing an occasional post, as I hope you will also do. Whoever accused you of "not doing nothing for the world of terror" is misinformed and blatantly hateful of you, because the rest of us know it is far far from the truth (one day they'll have to justify their behavior to a higher power than us, JP.) Eternal hugs my friend!
HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMM just blew up all by itself!

Israel said to be preparing strike against Hizbullah
By Khalil Fleihan
Daily Star correspondent
Saturday, August 21, 2004
BEIRUT: A Western European diplomatic source said Friday that his country had information that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was poised to strike at Hizbullah.
The military strike, which is likely to precede the Nov. 8 US presidential elections, could be a serious blow to the Lebanese side, unless the Lebanese government acts wisely to prevent such an attack.

Peroutka 2004.
It is official. Explanation in big bold blue print below the 9-11 buildings in my profile. About halfway down. I've decided. I will write-in if necessary. Of course, FR is the last place I would expect to find people I would need to explain this to../sarc
No more game playing. I am voting for right. Not "evil-lite."
Blessings to all.

PRO POLICE (EXCEPT FOR SQUIRRELS)
are you the guy that had the story on FR about the squirre on the motorcycle? that was one of the funniest things i have ever read...everyone in the house was crying.
Vicki told me their horrifying story. She and her husband had hunkered down in a hallway closet; when Charley arrived, she started feeling rain coming in - it was dripping on her from the light fixture in the closet. They then moved to the kitchen and huddled under the kitchen table. Every tree in their yard snapped in two. Their pool cage was the only one in their neighborhood that survived. The master bedroom had major water damage; all the carpeting had to be removed. They still have no power, no phone service. Vicki said she had to wait in line two hours for two bags of ice. Thankfully, I brought her some ice, cold Icehouse beer and a large pepperoni pizza. To quote that old William DeVaughan hit from 1974: Be thankful for what you got. I know I am!!
Pegita, thank you for the very beautiful prayer for our little Abigail. Bless you for your thoughtfulness and the wording brings tears to my eyes - it is truly appreciated.
Our granddaughter is anxious to get it all over with. She has spent an entire summer looking totally unlike any other girl her own age and wants to go back to school with all the other kids including her friends with the surgeries behind her and a new life ahead of her. Thank you all for caring and praying (extremely thankful for your prayers for her).
We'll be traveling some as a result of this and we'll be hoping the world will hold together for a while longer. Hugs all!
Recent arrests in Britain appear to have broken up a terrorist ring. What remains unclear, however, is whether authorities have stopped a major plot or just exposed one facet of a still dangerous terrorist operation aimed at a number of nations. Now is not the time to relax our guard.
British authorities on Tuesday charged eight men associated with al-Qaida with plotting mayhem, including the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals or explosives to cause "fear or injury." Attorney General John Ashcroft announced that the United States is weighing whether to charge them with planning crimes in the United States.
One of the men, Abu Eisa al-Hindi, is described by officials as a senior al-Qaida operative in Britain and as the likely author of surveillance reports about financial institutions in Washington, D.C., New York City and Newark, N.J. The reports, discovered on a computer captured by Pakistani authorities, appear to be several years old. But when evidence reportedly showed that they had been accessed this year, the Bush administration declared a heightened alert.
Time magazine now reports, citing Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf as its source, that al-Hindi attended a March terrorist "summit" in the remote Pakistani province of Waziristan, on the Afghan border. Among others at the meeting was Mohammed Junaid Babar, a New York resident who has since been arrested by the FBI and charged with plotting a bomb attack in Britain.
But still at large is a third person who was at the Waziristan meeting, Adnan el-Shukrijumah. He is described by Time and the newspaper The Scotsman as a skilled bomb-maker and pilot with multiple passports and identities, who grew up in Florida, speaks excellent English and can pass as Hispanic. Last May, FBI Director Robert Mueller appealed for any information on this man, and Mr. Ashcroft said he is a possible "future facilitator of terrorist acts."
As long as Shukrijumah is at large, it is too soon to assume that the British arrests have put an end to a plot against American targets. Meanwhile, other evidence suggests that al-Qaida has been planning a major offensive this fall.
Attacks may be planned in Europe. On April 15, Osama bin Laden announced a three-month "truce" during which European nations with forces in Iraq could withdraw. That "truce" expired July 15, and a group claiming to speak for al-Qaida has since threatened Bulgaria and Poland. On July 24, the same group threatened Australia and Italy with "lines" of car bombs. On Aug. 10, another group linking itself to al-Qaida claimed responsibility for a series of bomb attacks in Istanbul that killed three and wounded 11, saying it was "the first in a series of attacks that will be launched in the face of European states," according to a report by Agence France Presse. On Monday, yet another Islamist group threatened "bloodbaths" for the Netherlands and Italy if their troops are not withdrawn from Iraq.
Effective cooperation among British, Pakistani and American authorities has made a major inroad into at least one al-Qaida plot. Sadly, that is no guarantee that there are not more in the works.
A British prosecutor said on Wed-nesday that authorities seized 100 computers containing thousands of files and had issued 52 terrorism-related warrants in the investigation that led to charges against eight men for conspiracy to commit murder in an alleged terror plot.
The prosecutor, Sue Hemming, emphasized that investigators were at "the very early stages of a complex investigation," and described the inquiry to date as only the "tip of the iceberg."
In charges announced on Tuesday by Scotland Yard, all eight of the men were accused of conspiring together and with "other persons unknown" to use radioactive materials, toxic gases and chemicals or explosives to "cause disruption, fear or injury."
Two have been charged with possessing a reconnaissance plan of the Prudential Building in Newark, New Jersey, which was part of the terror alert announced by US officials this month. One of these men is Dhiren Barot, whom US officials have identified as Issa al-Hindi and have described as a senior al-Qaeda operative in the UK.
At a hearing at Belmarsh Prison in Southeast London, Hemming suggested that some defendants might have tried to obtain the dangerous materials described in the charges.
She told the judge, Timothy Workman, that documents had been found indicating that some of the accused "may have been sourcing" materials from shops or companies. Evidence collected so far, she said, suggested that the authorities might have uncovered at least one such attempt.
Yet the British authorities have not said whether they have uncovered any evidence of an active or specific plot against targets in the US, UK or elsewhere. Nor have they said that any of the suspects actually acquired materials that could be used in a terrorist act.
Arguing against bail, Hemming told the judge the men all had a "strong and deeply held ideology" and were "prepared to carry out dangerous acts." She said two of the men had past convictions -- one for resisting or obstructing the police in a case unrelated to the current charges and another for a driving-related offense six years ago.
Workman, citing the "nature and gravity" of the allegations and the risk the men might flee or interfere with witnesses, denied all of them bail. He ordered them held until Wednesday, when they are to appear at Old Bailey, the central criminal court in London.
In addition to Barot, 32, the other defendants are: Omar Abdul Rehman, 20; Mohammed Zia ul-Haq, 25; Abdul Aziz Jalil, 31; Nadeem Tarmohammed, 26; Mohammed Naveed Bhatti, 24; Quaisar Shaffi, 25; and Junade Feroze, 28. All face charges of conspiracy to murder and to use radioactive and other materials. Barot and Tarmohammed also face charges related to the reconnaissance plans, and Shaffi faces charges that he possessed an "extract of the Terrorist's Handbook" containing information on explosives and weapons.
Police in Birmingham yesterday arrested a 19-year-old man under the Terrorism Act 2000, West Midlands Police said.
The teenager was detained at an undisclosed address in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham, along with two other men, aged 24 and 36, who were arrested in relation to immigration matters, police said.
This world is insane. The rest of this article is insane. I am begaining to think "They" are sending out news reports on both side of an issue just to confuss the masses.
Iran has decided to stoke the flames ignited by the Bushcon arsonists as they push ahead with their Master Plan to reshape the Middle East. We will not sit (with arms folded) to wait for what others will do to us, warned Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani. We will consider any strike against our nuclear installations as an attack on Iran as a whole, and we will retaliate with all our strength. On Wednesday a commander of Irans elite Revolutionary Guards was quoted in the Iranian press as saying Tehran would strike at the Israeli reactor at Dimona if Israel attacked Irans nuke facilities.
Meanwhile, the demented Zionist, Alan Dershowitz, dredging up the Holocaust (again), writes that international law needs to be amended so Israel can attack Iran because it is only a matter of time before the evil Iranians nuke Israel for no other reason than they hate Jews and want to kill them once and for all. Dersh says killing thousands of Iraniansand possibly exposing millions to deadly radiationis the moral thing to do.
"By deliberately placing nuclear facilities in the midst of civilian population centers, the Iranian government has made the decision to expose its civilians to attacks, and it must assume all responsibility for any casualties caused by such attacks. Israel, the United States and other democracies always locate their military facilities away from population centers, precisely in order to minimize danger to their civilians."
Can you believe this guy is a celebrated law professor? Talk about making excuses to kill thousands of people and then blame it on the victims. Disgusting.

Pakistani officials are seeking a man they and U.S. officials believe has taken over responsibility for planning al-Qaida attacks on the United States. They say he is the new No. 3 man in the terrorist network and may know the general whereabouts of Osama bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahiri - al-Qaida's No. 2 man.
Abu Faraj al Libi, a Libyan citizen who has long worked with bin Laden, is believed to have taken over the No. 3 job with the capture of his mentor, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, in March 2003, a senior U.S. official told NBC News. Like all of the officials interviewed for this story, the official spoke on condition of anonymity.
As Mohammed's top deputy, Abu Faraj is believed to have played a role in organizing the 9/11 attacks.
Today, he is believed to be in charge of all al-Qaida's U.S. and United Kingdom operations, including any current plots. Abu Faraj is also believed to know at least the general whereabouts of bin Laden and al Zawahiri, and to be the mastermind of the Dec. 14 and 25 assassination attempts against Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.
'We will get him'
Pakistani officials told NBC News that Musharraf has told confidantes in the past few days, "We will get him."
On Thursday, Pakistani officials issued a poster of the country's "most wanted terrorists," offering rewards of $340,000 for the capture of Abu Faraj and another man, Amjad Hussein. Smaller rewards are listed for four others. Pakistani officials said that Abu Faraj is also known as "Dr. Taufeek." All but Abu Faraj are Pakistani citizens.
U.S. officials believe Abu Faraj operates out of the tribal areas of western Pakistan, like bin Laden and Zawahiri, who, Pakistani officials believe, are living and traveling separately in the province of South Waziristan, near the Afghan border. Officials believe that Abu Faraj moves more freely than the other two and that he is accompanied, like all top al-Qaida officials, by a security detail and financial advisers.
Capturing him has become a top priority of intelligence agencies in both countries. Although Abu Faraj has been known to intelligence officials for several years and has been a top target since the capture of Mohammed, finding him has taken on a new urgency with the discovery of surveillance reports and other intelligence on the hard drives of three al-Qaida operatives. The material has provided the United States and Pakistan with a treasure trove of material regarding al-Qaida plans.
Unfamiliar with the West
Much of what is known about Abu Faraj comes from al-Qaida detainees, both those captured in 2003, like Mohammed, and others captured recently. Abu Faraj had previously been the director of al-Qaida's North African operations and Mohammed's personal aide.
Unlike Mohammed, Abu Faraj is low key, older and unfamiliar with the West, which U.S. officials believe puts him at a disadvantage compared to his predecessor and mentor. He is typical of the new leaders of the terrorist organization, say U.S. officials — not as capable as their predecessors, but dangerous nonetheless.
"KSM was a full-service terrorist," said one U.S. official. "He taught al-Qaida operatives how to act in the West. Abu Faraj cannot do that, but he does have the trust of Osama bin Laden."
