Hugh Hewitt just finished playing an entire story from Fox News wherein Carl Cameron confronted the Kerry campaign regarding his Cambodia claims.
Intially, they denied that Kerry had ever said he was in Cambodia. So Carl presented them with the Senate Record and the Boston Globe article where he most unambiguously did so. They said they would have to get back to him on this one, but sticks to their story that he was near Cambodia, but not actually in Cambodia.
THIS STORY HAS LEGS!

Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia. I remember what it was like to be shot at by Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians,Khmer Rouge wasn't formed until 1970.

Exactly. It has to be turned to the larger picture. The Monica affair wasn't enough to sink Clinton but it gave us a window on his corruption. He survived because the story was contained to the affair.

On HARDBALL, Chuck Hagel stressing how responsibility for this type of ad belongs to his dear friend John McCain!

"It will be a disaster if this spaced out egomaniac ends up in the White House. Are the American people stupid enough to put him there? Are the American people stupid enough to believe that Uncle Sugar in Washington DC can solve all their problems via the Democrat version of socialism for the United States?"
Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are past presidents. Does that answer your question?

Brit mentioned the Nixon lie during the panel discussion.

It still amazes me that he brought a video camera to Viet Nam to record his daring deeds. The ultimate cynical campaign prep - after all, he thinks he was born to run.

Yes, the story has legs and they seem to be getting stronger everyday. Brit Hume led with it tonight on his show. Our left coast papers are still holding their fingers in their ears and humming, so to speak. Neither yesterday's Sunday San Jose Mercury News or today's S.F. Chronicle had one word on the leaky boat story story.

Not old enough to remember who the president was when I was in elementary school (except for JFK, of course...I'll never forget the drums beating for his funeral...and I was very little then).
